Providing we stay relatively injury free ( other than the 3 long term ones )
then i am going 1st.

If we have more long term injuries then who knows where we will finish.
Concerned already with Molyneux injured.
He will be a big player for us with both assists and goals.

Griffiths out for 2 months. We must keep Miller and Andrews fit and Agard needs to step up and be a big player when required.

A fully fit squad and I think we would take some stopping.

Average so far is 6th/7th. I think that is higher than expectations from a few months ago!

Very similar predictions at this stage last season with the most thinking we will do well, I will go on 2 different halves to the season up-to Christmas 18th, then at last a big shake up by the board and then finish 6th losing in the Playoffs

I predicted bottom 3 last year and was annoyingly correct; I don’t see us doing any better than 11th this season but that’s an improvement on where I thought we would end up at the beginning of the transfer window.

The first 11 looks better but not convinced we have strength: experience in some key positions especially in depth. When players don’t recover, other injuries occur and suspensions kick in the squad will look paper thin again. This years about steadying the ship not pushing on.

It will be another Rovers rollercoaster ride. We’ll love ‘em, loathe them & then finish 6 th.

As context, if we don’t get promoted, this will statistically be our worst season in the league since 1997/98.

Our stint in the fourth tier immediate before 1997/98 saw us finish 19th, 13th, 9th, 15th, 16th, 21st, 11th, 20th and 23rd respectively (more recent seasons first).

After a season and a half of absolute dross that would be progress and we'd be well set to challenge for promotion next year.

I like the transfer policy this summer but am not convinced either that there's been enough of a change around in players, or with the ability of the manager, to warrant an automatic promotion challenge.

Hope to be proved wrong.

A few very pessimistic forecasts, but majority i would say predicting a play off place.
A few of us top 3 place.

The important thing is we don’t start getting too despondent if we are not in the top 7 after 10 games. We do have a difficult start to the season on paper but I expect us to be top 7 after 10 games and get stronger as the season goes on.
If we satay relatively injury free then I think we can be champions next May. Definitely top 3

Let’s get right behind this group of players as they will be giving it everything this season.

Agree with this. The defensive unit remains a real concern. Hope this can be allayed quickly.
