Who won it.
-
Both of them Marquis and Akinde as they both got 26 goals, well I presume so.
-
One has left foot, one right.
-
Took the returns of my bet down by half :(
-
Dead heat rules apply.
-
Whoever played the least per goals scored
-
if you score an own goal not that it happened you should go down by one
alick Jeffrey once scored an own goal Rooney has done it - harry kane has done it this season

bless him lukaku has done it shame about that NOT

AS THEY SAY YOUVE GOT TO TAKE THE POSITIVES WITH THE NEGATIVES

Whoever played the least per goals scored
I'm not sure that applies, but if so it's Marquis.
156 v 159 mins per goal.
They both have the same asists, and the same shots on target, though Marquis had less shots, making him the most efficient in terms of shots on target per shot and goals per shot.

As Gaz says its a dead heat, irrespective of how many games or minutes they have played.
-
Martin Fry still has a golden suit.
-
Do assists come into it.
-
think it should be renamed the Blankety Blank win a cheque book pen competition judging by the non scoring late on
:suicide: :suicide: :suicide:
-
Maybe decide it on the best back nine (games) like they do in golf.

Joint holders are absolutely fine my me, but if a tie breaker were really desirable or necessary then the player with fewest penalty goals would be the first criteria for me
Then if necessary fewest minutes on pitch per goal
-
You know what Dutch, i get where you are coming from with that penalty suggestion, but, as we have seen more and more and especially with the Rovers, a penalty isn't a certain goal anymore.
It still has to be put away.
I remember playing for a team a few years ago which ran away with the division title and reached a cup final.
One of our players had taken the pens all season but when we got one at 2-1 down in the final he bottled taking it.
Someone else stepped up and missed and we lost the game 2-1.
The point i am making is that under pressure a pen isn't a guaranteed goal.

what you all don't know is that Akinde actually missed his last penalty -- can't remember him missing all season til then -- in the win at Hartlepool 22nd April otherwise he would have won he had scored one already
"Akinde also missed a penalty, Fryer saving his weak spot kick with nine minutes remaining."

francis lee made a career out of winning penalties and taking them he would fit ideally into the modern game
In the 1971–72 season, Lee set a British record for the number of penalties scored in a season, with 15 of his 35 goals scored from the penalty spot. Many of the penalties resulted from fouls on Lee, earning him the nickname Lee One Pen. Some journalists, holding the opinion that Lee gained a number of penalties by diving, used the name Lee Won Pen instead.[4] Lee's name is often cited in debates about diving in football; referees' chief Keith Hackett described him as a player who "had a reputation of falling down easily".[

.....ah, but Marquis missed two this season so if had scored them both.....HE would have won the boot outright.

Marquis 1 pen, Akinde 6.
I don't think pens should feature at all.
For league games, excluding pens, mins on the pitch per goal is:
Marquis 162
Williams 212
Mandeville 246
May 248
Copps 316
Rowe 367
Baudry 473
Blair 1301
Butler 1329
An interesting stat is mins on the pitch per assist:
McSheffrey 71
Copps 243
Mandeville 246
Middleton 248
Rowe 367
Blair 557
May 744
Grant 899
Wright 1531
Mason 1610
Marquis 2023
Williams 2327
Baudry 2367
Butler 3898

And we'd probably have won the league.
