"It was a real shame but not a surprise that former Cheltenham loanee and nasty piece of work John Marquis sealed victory for Darren Ferguson's side. While his attitude was unpopular with Robins' supporters, his class at League Two level is unquestionable."

The person that wrote that was not at the game surely? The second yellow for the red was harsh? What constitutes assualt down Cheltenham way?

He clotheslined Alfie who was nowhere near the ball. I thought it could have been a straight red.

It was a straight red card for me but then the ref let them get away time and again with fouls that normally would have seen a yellow

It wasn't a clothesline at all. Watch the highlights, he pulled Alfie's shirt. Yellow card was correct.

I think they were referring to the Cheltenham player - not Alfie.

The second yellow was a correct decision, he pulled Alfie shirt as he was about to get away from him.
Butler got a similar yellow for a shirt pull on halfway in a recent match, Morecambe or Accrington I think.

Probably more comprehensively that 2-0 as well.

Never mind 3 Points when you are not firing on all 6 or 8 (or even 3) is the sign of a good team so the Pundits reckon

Even better if the bottom two (or second bottom at least) catch them and we end up sending them down.

He was sqwaked as thou he was getting gang raped when the bottom half of league 2 was put
up on the screens during the sky sports final score coverage,as monkey hangers were 3rd bottom.

Fcuk knows what he will do should they go down on last game of season, but I doubt that will happen
but well worth the watch just incase,as the likes of Merson, letissier,Thompson and Kamara will been
all having a party for us to witness on idiot box.

Don't think Jeff and the boys will be on the box when we play our last game, it will be Sky reserves

IF Hartlepool need something off the last game, then that will be less tickets for us.
Ps I like Jeff Stelling and his love of Hartlepool.Hardly a glory hunter is he?

No but he has always liked to take the pizz out of Donny. They were queuing up when Brentford got the last minute penalty. Paul Walsh was nearly in tears and could not get the words out at what was happening, either exitment or totally pizzed off, made lovely viewing.

Jeff Stelling has always loved to take the piss out of any football team, especially his own, and besides it's all good natured. He probably wouldn't be best pleased if his team got stuffed, but I'm sure his reaction would be the same if it was from us, Plymouth, Carlisle or Pompey.

Got to love the bloke. I really would like a day at some Match with him and a few Beers - I would buy them

Not a glory hunter - supports his local Club - which we are always advocating - and a great ad libber / p**s taker.

Makes that Prog immensely watchable - and it was a classic when Pools were getting flayed by Wrexham and Juan Ugarte got 4 of the 6 goals (maybe) and the lads were getting their own back on him
