So Hughes will be a shoe in at Hillsbro then.

Bad news for every other team in League Two. Awful manager at any level.

Chansiri just keeps giving.

If Hughes gets another job in the league, he will be very lucky. Complete dinosaur.

God knows who will end up at Swillsboro. That Job needs to be avoided like the plague.

Warnock rumoured to be heavily interested in the Wednesday job.

I hope it happens just for the comedy value.

No, he knows exactly when to piss off and leave a club in trouble.

I think he knew what was coming in the championship and wasn’t really negotiating a new wage, more of a decent lump once sacked.

That and because Xisco was offered the job after the first leg in play offs (according to someone who knew someone who knew someone)

Wonder how the red half of Sheffield would take it if Warnock took 9ver at Wendies.

He does have a record of rescuing clubs in danger of relegation.

I thought the Wendies fans would want pretty much anyone but Warnock given his very public love for their neighbours but desperate times call for desperate measures and a couple of Wednesday fans I know would welcome him with open arms.

I'd love to see him go there and have a very public falling out with their nut-job owner.

Seems like most Wendies I'm seeing are generally in favour of Warnock taking over at the moment. Desperate times indeed.

The Wendies job is really attractive, go in, sign a three year deal, let things carry on, get another 6 weeks and get sacked. Open pocket, three years wages please! Thank you very much. Just like the QPR job a few years ago, a licence to print money for yourself.

Warnock infuriated Wednesday fans with comments about their club during an interview with the Guardian in 2002.

Asked if he'd ever consider becoming their manager, Warnock said: "As long as the whole of my massive salary was paid within 28 days, then I would buy so many tosspots - although come to think of it, their current squad would do - and f*** 'em up so badly.

"Then I'd retire to Cornwall and spend the rest of my life laughing my head off."
