A pity it didn't work out for him, and wishing good luck with his next venture

Helped us beat Sunderland for the first time ever  :scarf:

Another criminal signing. Whoever has signed off on our signings in the last few years wants paying off as well!

Pretty sure you were saying he had potential when he signed.
Maybe the people who signed him agreed with you.
3 years might not have been the best decision but unless we know his wage maybe it was a gamble on his potential that hasn’t paid off.

In the pond we were fishing in at the time there was always going to be some gambles. This one didnt pay off. There will be lots we dont know about the lad, his ability, mental state, attitude etc. Good luck to him. Easy to criticise the signing afterwards. #hindsight

Should have been a good signing with his promise, ultimately very disappointing.

I was possibly the only one criticising it at the time. Fairly obvious what would happen.

Two caveats being his standard was relative and he was playing in some dreadful, dreadful sides - but it was notable how the longer he was with us, the worse he got, until the point where he wasn’t even training with the squad let alone playing with them. We’ve probably got as much responsibility as him for it not working out.

That’s fair enough but you definitely later said he had potential.

Probably need to thank both Rotherham United and that f**king fax machine for saving us some serious money as well, because I can’t imagine either of those two would have worked out.

My understanding from a friend who’s a friend of a player, said his attitude was so poor, if he didn’t feel up for training he would fake an injury to sit it out.

Shame someone with such potential throws away a great career.

He stinks of someone who thinks he can get by on ability alone, obviously got a lot of potential coming through at Spurs and Lyon but his attitude and work ethic will be a massive problem for clubs looking at him.

Thanks for the Sunderland goal reo.

Hope he finds a place where he is happy and can get his career on track. Whatever the reasons for it not working out here I hope can be put behind him.
This could be the kick up the arse for him tk realise that you don't get by on what you did in the u17's and u18's anymore.

I know someone who was his team mate, he says he was very talented but had an absolutely terrible attitude towards training.

It’s a shame, I thought he had good potential. Without the right attitude your ability will amount to nothing.

At last! The one remaining signing from the disaster January 2022 window has now gone.

I have to say that what i saw from Griffiths didn't give me any reason to believe that he could be a good signing for us.
Good luck to him elsewhere but i don't see him getting another league club.

He’s London based so getting himself settled maybe with one of the National League sides down there like Barnet or Dagenham might help him get his career back on track maybe.

Good riddance. He, along with all the other rubbish signings made by rubbish managers, is part of the reasons why we're in the bottom 6 of the EFL.
