Anyone have any ideas who we might/should sign in the transfer window and who may be going?

A central defender is a must! If that means clearing out the likes of Souza and maybe one or two others, then so be it if you ask me.

Yeah, we certainly need someone to reinforce the back line. Anyone in particular in mind?

Not sure. Kilgallon has been mentioned and he'd be awesome, but perhaps unrealistic due to wages.

I've always thought Zak Whitbread was a good player, ex Millwall defender. Doesn't seem to be doing much at Norwich, but could be a shrewd addition.

Killgallon would be quality signing, maybe we could do a 50-50 on wages with the Black Cats. Whitbread showed some real promise at Liverpool, and did decently for Millwall. Norwich are wasting him, so maybe we could get him cheap.

Anyone think we could do with a bit of competition for Stock's place? and maybe a backup for here and now for Sully? or is our reserve keeper up to the task?

If we don't get at least one decent CB then I think the board aren't bothered about going for the play-offs this season.

Not that that bothers me, I'm still happy to be watching championship football and won't cry if we don't get promoted. But...if the board want to push on, it's time to show the commitment. Up to them really.

Top of my list would be
Dumbaya
Woods
Mills
Chambers
Gillet

I'd push Webster, Woods (gk) and Fairhurst out on loan again, get a keeper to sit on the bench and a quality centre back.

Honestly don't think we are too short if we can get the injuries sorted.
