I bet the Forest fans are delighted!!! I think he might even challenge Berg's short stay at Blackburn.

Fell about laughing when I heard this. I can maybe understand sacking SO'D if you've got a Keane or a Di Matteo lined up - it's still reprehensible how they treated him, but understandable - but to sack him for Alex f**king McLeish!? Unbelievable stupidity from people who obviously have more money than sense.

Dear, oh dear, oh dear.

All bets must be off on this one. The odds must be pathetic.

Keane? He's a piss poor manager. RDM fair enough, but Roy Keane's record must be as bad as McLeish

At least he's a fairly big name though. Still young with plenty of potential to improve, too.

Priceless ! And these are from the 'Welcome Alex McLeish' thread!!

Quote
Isn't McLeish just Cotterill in a ginger wig?

Quote
The tree on my forest shirt has wilted and I doubt the leaves will grow back for some time

Quote
I honestly don't think they could have made a worse decision.
We'll have another manager by the end of the season. Forest fans will not accept his hoofballing shit

Quote
I wasnt a fan of SOD, but I would carry him from wherever he lives to the City Ground on my back rather than have this

Quote
sacked in the morning, your getting sacked in the morning,

Quote
I'll wish him Good Luck but in no way will I ever say he's WELCOME. Because he's not.

All I can say is they must be strak staring bonkers.
They sack a manager who has made signings to suit his style and replace him with a long ball dinosaur.
Madness, I hope they plummet like a stone.

Keane has managed 2 Champinship clubs getting one promoted when relegation had threatened them as he took over and the other was Ipswich where he admittedly struggled (who doesn't), nowhere near as rocky record as McCleish

I think he is a food manager in that league. Plenty of experience, he's fallen short in the Prem but they're not in the Prem.

I suppose they could put him in charge of the catering. Better than letting him anywhere near the team.

That's the problem with foreign owners. They want it all handed on a plate.
