Would appear he’s no longer with the rich wife/partner

He’s here again tonight. I didn’t appreciate what a unit he was until he’s just stood up next to regular humans.

How long do we leave the offer on the table before we take it away? Does he want to play football or not? I have never known anything like it.

The Blackpool CB had Ennis in his pocket tonight, thats why we need someone like Anichebe

Maybe so, but if he doesn’t want to sign then we support the ones we have. This defeat could be a character building for our young team and it could go in our favour with a positive outcome.
We never do well against Blackpool at home.
Perhaps he will sign, which would be encouraging too.

I'm kicking myself for not adding Gnanduillet as my target for a striker in the "fish in our own pond" thread. Real handful who seems to score regularly who I've thought would do a job.

A while ago I asked the question on here “do we need Anichebe “

I’ve been to my first game tonight and can now answer my own question YES YES YES

With a good striker tonight we would have won easily. Marquis would have had a field day tonight

Not sure it’s even been a debate since Marquis left to be honest.

The fact Moore was desperate for one says it all.

We 100% need a striker, is there anyone really who thinks we don’t?

Read a good comment on Twitter. Asking Ennis to be the main man up front is like us asking Wilkes to last season.

Ennis is a good player and a threat, he is not a number 9 out and out finisher though.
We probably should have won Saturday given the chances and balance of play and we 100 percent should have won tonight.

I honestly feel if Anichebe was interested in more than just training he would have been signed by now, I hope I am wrong like

Couldn’t agree more. What’s the point of him being here now just training. Either sign or don’t.

Was saying the same tonight on the way into the stadium.
Maybe he is waiting to see what other offers his agent can get for him.

Also, during the match we said that we were crying out for a strong player to hold the ball up and bring other players into the game.
Yes we do need him or someone similar.

On what I saw tonight the club need to act quickly or it could end up regretting it
The tea is obviously good enough but lacks that final clinical attacker

The other thing that struck me tonight having not seeing the team for a while

I thought that Alfie is May looked a lot better player than last year and he looks like he’s bulked up a bit

That really wasn’t Alfie’s best day....

May was shocking tonight in my opinion (alert Selby). His worst performance of the season by some distance on an off-night for the entire team.

With dozens of not hundreds of players out of contract at the moment why  we are perusing a player who hasn’t kick a bal in nearly 2 years ????

We probably can’t get him over the line, either!
