More concerned that we have got our monthly payment for him and his oppo buggering off than them paying him to be honest.

This is the problem when you go to a basket case club. They say they'll pay you whatever but you can't be 100% certain you'll get it on time.

Ah well, he made his bed. They could be in deep doodoo if they get relegated.

Maybe Chansiri is waiting until after Derby game,to see if he keeps them up,before deciding whether to sack him and make him wait and chase up for his pay-out.

I can’t believe DM went to this toxic, lunatic asylum of a club. WTF was he thinking except a big bag of money. You reap what you sew and I hope he’s happy because I don’t see him getting another job soon as I can’t see him staying there long term - clubs tend not to like managers who jump ship at the first possible opportunity - I don’t see Dean Saunders managing anywhere at the moment.

He had a spell at Chesterfield where they hated him, I believe.

He managed Crawley, who we beat 5-0 whilst he was there, and he also had a bad spell at Chesterfield.

5 clubs as a manager and basically achieved no success with any of them. A prize prat.

I wonder how DM is going to go about building a team this summer, i can't see many out of contract player's resigning and any new player's will be wary of signing for fear of not getting paid.
They were hoping that there Transfer Embargo would be lifted this summer, but that won't happen now, and to top it all off a £6.5m payment is due in September on the loan they made for buying the ground.

To be fair Chesterfield were on a downward spiral with other managers too.

I always liked how he made us solid at the back, that team in 12/13 wasn't the easiest on the eye but sometimes that is required to get the job done.

The Barnsley fan has mentioned that who regularly posts on here with their current manager. A combination of good football but also the ability to mix it up too.

The 12/13 side was one of the two most physically robust Donny sides I've ever seen. The other being the 80/81 side with Warboys, Dowd, Snod and Animal as the spine.
