Could any of you tell me why Cahill wasn't given a red card for his assault on Danny Rose for Spurs 2nd goal?
2 footed off the ground totally cleaned him out.

Probably because he not only scored but didn't make a meal of it.
Man United's defending at corners in the last few games also looks like a penalty waiting to happen.
This circus at corners and free kicks needs sorting before it gets even more ridiculous.

Just had a tweet back from Martin Lipton, Daily Mirror?, his thoughts are that
A It wasn't seen - hard to believe
B A goal was scored - so it's OK to kick lumps out of someone as long as they score but you get sent off for it if they miss or don't get their shot away

He also kicked Harry Kane in the back near the dugouts. Hopefully, it will be picked up retrospectively.

30 years ago we'd be applauding a challenge like that

It's a contact sport and a commited challenge and Rose came out on top, sports turning into a joke when it comes to challenges.
