Bench looks very good. Bit of a moan from me that we seem to show the loanees more loyalty than our own players with them coming straight in. But if they are better than what we’ve got on the bench today we’ll have some season

Janes for Cameron John is a weird one especially if he hasn’t featured all pre season and big ok being left out is weird but if it works then fair enough

It's got nothing to do with loyalty though, Darren picks a team to win a game and goes with it. For all intents and purposes, the loanees are as much our players as anyone else for the duration of this season.

I don't understand why people cry about loanees. It's only like having a player on a short term contract.

.

It’s gamble leaving 4 players out when your trying to establish a first 11 .

Bit of a reality check needed...looks like DM wanted to see what everyone was capable of .....given that we haven’t had a full preseason....I also feel that he was... and is prepared to throw caution to the wind to get these young lads blooded quickly for the fight ahead.....

I enjoyed it

I am, when it’s obvious what the managers trying to achieve, ....

I do find that those who don’t understand the obvious intentions of the manager tend to complain the loudest though,

Some can see strategy and some complain when their narrative is not met....

So yes....I enjoyed the experiment and feel it did more help than harm...

Can’t say it wasn’t entertaining. Not imo anyway. Thought it was a a very good game to watch.

I agree Campsall. I said to my lad when we saw the team that we would probably struggle a bit, due to the new faces. First half we weren’t at the races, but there was improvement in the second half.I think we will do well this season.
