Iain Hume
« on September 16, 2012, 08:09:15 pm by StocktonRover »
I've just been browsing on the Colchester Forum and noticed a thread about Iain Hume.

http://www.cu-fcchat.com/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=16407 (cant do the linky thing)

The thrust of the thread is that when Woods punted a big ball three quarters of the length of the field, Hume went to head the ball and caused DS to shout out urging him not to head it?

Did anyone notice this?

.... cant see why

Against Yeovil I remember he did a tremendous header with power right on the right touchline having outjumped the defender who was much bigger than him.

Perhaps it is one we should monitor but imo even if he is blighted by this injury he has more than enough ammo to do a job for us. Have been impressed each time I have seen him in the Hoops

Maybe we were set up to win the 2nd ball from the punt and not for a flick on. Could be anything.

Possibly because he was up there on his own and Saunders wanted him to hold it up rather than flick it on?
