work in progress FINISHED
« on April 22, 2013, 06:16:36 pm by Tiddysdad »
Back in the mid 70's I did pictures of the players that appeared in the program each issue. Well I've been inspired to pick up my brushes again by our leader.

I thought you would like to see how I'm getting on. Hope you like.

Your thoughts would be appreciated.

That's absolutely fantastic. A work of art befitting of Captain Fantastic himself.

He looks like I felt when I got back to mi seat after Paynter's winner at Crewe!

Seriously. Excellent stuff. Ryan should be made aware of this - it'd be fantastic to see paintings like this of key moments in the club's history all over the ground.

Billy Sharp's goal after his bairn had died.

Franny's winner

Hayter's winner

Syd Bycroft pulling off the papier-mache "studs" off the sole of his boots to reveal the nails underneath. (Suarez! He ant got a f**king clue about how to intimidate opponents.)

Dougie's bullet header at Millmoor,  85

Ian Snodin kicking the f**k out of the away team dressing room door after we came back to draw against Cheltenham in 98.

300 of us daft bas**rds slaring down the mud-bath of an away end at Springfield Park in the LDV in 1990.

Me running down the front concourse at Gresty Road the other week screaming me lungs up.

Get on wi in man!

It's absolutely superb, must have been from an away game from the amount of grass on the pitch though!

What an atmosphere it was that night, i remember coming back on the bus, piss wet through covered in mud from the bank and thinking that life supporting Rovers couldn't get any better!

That really was when football was proper mans stuff, skidding down a muddy hill on our arses into a foot of water at the bottom, all because Bruno'd scored a goal in a tinpot cup!

That's incredible. Would love to see this kind of thing in a programme, or in the concourses or Belle Vue bar. Great stuff.
