I'm not so sure about that.    The title is still not deffo, I think there will be such a sense of relief that it will happen..   and at the end of the day,  why have one invasion,  when you can have another in a few weeks lol

I always think that fans running onto the pitch do it for themselves, not the club or players.
I't doesn't make them better fans but just gives a story to tell mates.

I don't see what harm it does. Back when we won promotion at Blle Vue, it was properly organised with a section cornered off for supporters to congregate behind when the players came back out.

We've let opponents run wild on the pitch at the Keepmoat in recent years, with no one stopping them, so I'd be annoyed if the stewards and Police took a stance against our own supporters doing it.

What does running on the pitch achieve?
I personally think that it's childish.
I'll have about an hours drive back on Saturday. I will stay and applaud the players if we clinch promotion but if a load of morons run on I'll be off.
Promotion is only the first part if we do achieve it on Saturday.
We gave a further two home games to clinch the championship.
Run on then if you have to.

I do recall the "invasion" after the Southend play off game - that was surreal, as we were applauding the Southend fans.  I have never really seen that before or since.

beat me to it. we all know we are promoted already. I'd be ok with a pitch invasion if the title is warapped up at the Keepmoat, which would be spontaneous and more "worthy".
