Also,  don't know if Copps was put up for the pre match press interview instead of DF, but he speaks very well about the post match analysis and training. For the first time, I detect the potential manager/coach in him.

He's openly said he's not thinking that far ahead but surely, his experience, wisdom and intelligence will stand him in good stead should he wish to pursue a managerial career. Should we end up managerless in the not too distant future,I can see him getting the call to steady the ship!

Copps is Mr Nice guy.

For me he is right up there with Alick.

A very nice comment about Sean and the way he affected his playing life.

Copps will be very hard to replace. I have enjoyed watching him and I am sure I will until the final curtain.

For me there is one word I would associate with  Copps.........RESPECT.

Future DRFC manager?

I hope not.
It would be sad to see him getting fan abuse when things eventually went wrong.

It shows just what can be achieved with keeping your feet on the ground and working hard.
A lot of young players might benefit from watching that.

He seems to have quite a few other interests- eg ProMindset and property. I don't actually know if he's done any coaching badges, which really is a pre-requisite for going into management nowadays.

Copps is a double of Gary Windass in Coronation Street. I am sure Copps would bag a hatful of goals at the Red Rec.

Are there any other players past or present who have a double?

Great interview, great player.

That must be the worst doppelganger I've ever heard!

Not Rovers players but I give you:

Jordan Henderson and Ste off Hollyoaks

Doc Sykes and Mr Bean

Steady on Idler.
I grew the beard for Movember last year but it was a couple of shades lighter than Pirlos'.

I was thinking of the bottom picture, as in game of thrones.
Apologies if it went over my head.

I saw Pirlo play at NYc recently... Strolled through the game, but was still the star of the show..

If the bottom picture has some reference to a hound then I have to say it would have gone over MY head because I know nothing about Game of Thrones.
Sorry if I spoiled the joke.

Wasn't aimed at you, just a looky-likey..

An absolute legend in every sense of the word. James should write an autobiography. If my son ever becomes a professional footballer this is the role model that he should follow. The guy is a credit to himself, his family and Doncaster Rovers. James write that book son I want a signed copy!  :rtid:

Not a bad effort from Sky there but prefer my videos, done on a much cheaper budget.

..plus I've been told to stop hanging round his house which makes interviews impossible.
