The Road to Wigan Pier by George Orwell.

Horrific depiction of poverty in the Great Depression, but I couldn't help chuckling at this line.

"Even Wigan is beautiful compared with Sheffield. Sheffield, I suppose, could justly claim to be the ugliest city in the world. Its inhabitants, who want it to be pre-eminent in everything would no doubt be happy with that claim."

Anyone able to work that into a chant before 15:00 today?
