That away shirt looks amazing. Hopefully they will be available soon (as well as ST's for that all important discount haha!).

Anyone have any idea what they look like on the back yet? Hoops or solid back?

Think I would have preferred a black collar on the away but both look cracking

Bit busy at the moment, so this is the best I can do. I think that they both look grand, though I think the away shirt shades it...

Wasn't that fussed about the home shirt, but - at least to me - it looks pretty good in the flesh.

Thank you Lipsy

They both look fantastic.  Need get the pennys saved.  Looks like I'm getting both this season :)

I'd have gone with a black collar and side strips for the away shirt before, though the white adds a certain "je ne sais quoi" and no doubt I'll grow to love it more.

Looks like the back of the home kit is plain red with a thin white horizontal stripe?

£16.75 for the striped St Etienne shirts!

I don't like that really thin hoop at all. Other than that and the white between the body and arms on the home shirt, they look great.

I like the away shirt but I think having different sized hoops really cheapens it. Don't really buy the excuse that it's so the sponser can fit on, because we've had the same sponser for the last 3 years.

Love them both. Which to buy... decisions.

I still wish they would design a reversible football kit with Home colours on 1 side and away colours on the other. If the price of 1 is £40, I would happily pay £60 for a reversible one.

What I find interestingly is that if you zoom in, it looks like we are finally using this badge on the shirts:

As opposed to what we normally use:

The badge has been the newer design for a while hasn't it?

Not on the shirts, it has always been the latter badge. The main way of telling is if the left wing points down, and if the rose has a central point.

I don't like the unevenness of the hoops at the top to be honest but ah well. The Avec logo looks weirdly out of place too.

Away kit is nice, will probably buy that one.

Why wouldn't you buy that as the reason? The sponsors insisted on their logo being on the same band and that was the only way it could be accommodated. As somebody who sat in several meetings and had long telephone conversations about that and other issues I can assure you it is the reason. Why else would it be done that way?

Well I think the kits look smart and I am so glad we are not with template suppliers like addidas, nike and puma.

Well done all.

When can we buy them and will they stock enough of that fantastic away kit during the initial months of the season.

Woooah calm it on the defensive front. I'm not suggesting The Hon. member for Majority to be lying.

I originally thought it to be an excuse from Avec. Was One Call's insistence on it being in the same band part of their new sponsorship deal?

Couple of other points, I think it's pretty shoddy that we still don't have the shirts for pre-season, especially when you consider that teams like Norwich played last game of the season in their new kit...

Also do we know if "Rovers til I die" is on the back of these shirts?

OK, maybe a bit too defensive but I did ask the question why else would we put a narrow band on the shirt and claim it was to meet the sponsors requirements if that wasn't the case?

The answer is as already given. We did consider broadening all of the bands but that didn't look right either. I do think, although believe it or not I was heavily criticised in certain areas for that too, that the shirt in the flesh looks really good, much better than the photos do justice.

Don't forget, for an exercise that is pretty much unique in football in this country the abuse that this has attracted in certain areas (not you) is incredible. Totally unfathomable to me.

I have to say I'm impressed with both shirts.

I agree that the manufacturer's logo seems oddly positioned, but otherwise marvellous.

The manufacturers logo could do with being on the next hoop down, but I love the designs. I haven't had a new home shirt since 07-08, so due another one, and the away is very nice as well.

Just be glad that we don't support Spurs - their 3rd kit (on the right) is shocking
