I'm very glad he didn't apply for the job at Rovers..It's weird enough they have released Matt Mills on a free...But after saying they were desperate for a striker they have agreed terms with Gary Madine....????? So there still looking for a striker..lol

I can imagine that Mills was released in order to get the wage bill down. Madine seems an odd signing though. He hardly tore up trees when he was on loan at Coventry last season.

A very cheap gamble I would think for them. Mills went in a cost cutting exercise.

Splendid! It really does the heart good to see another club that has consistently spent beyond its means at long, long last, having to come to terms with reality. Can we hope their pernicious chairman will take himself out of the equation too in a further round of cost cutting?

There is that I suppose Gaz but when I take a gamble I would like the odds of winning to be a little more favourable than that...You watch I will be reminded of this when he's got 20 goals in the hutch next season..lol

They started sliding when they let Allardyce leave and put Sammy Lee in charge, is it only us supporters who can see when managerial appointments are made, that there's no way they will work out?.
