I think we will sign two. I'm sure of it. Williams is a big lad but he's not an out and out target man. Davies is a bit similar in that way but they can both finish.

Williams, Tyson, Main and Davies wouldn't be 4 bad stikers for this level. All offer something different anyway. I'd be happy with that myself.

Don't think we will sign Davies now. Im guessing it would have been one or the other

I don't know Williams and Davies are different players Williams is more that poacher we requrie. Him and Davies could link up well in my eyes.

Incredible sign of intent if we do sign both. As with all these things, If we do sign one - it often panics another club into signing another.

You've got to say it would be an improvement on what we had last year.

I believe he was joint top scorer for Derby one year with no other than Steve Davies.

I agree they are different types of players however I can't see us having them both due to the fact they will both be commanding decent sized wages. Along with the fact that we still got Main and Tyson also.

You need four strikers, especially as Tyson is knocking on a bit and struggles from week to week. Plus Tyson can play out wide. Money won't be a problem.

Probably Monday I would imagine...I would think if he is signing Rovers would want to make the most of the publicity and give notice of a press conference to maximise publicity and also let other players and agents know we will be a team to reckoned with next year........

A lot of moaning about our lack of signing etc etc...I'm liking this though so far..We are talking to and now signing some quality...That should dispel false rumours about our budget...Don't you agree Vicar??

It told you all about the budget. Nobody believed me because I didn't have photocopied evidence, hope this starts to convince you. Massive 3 year deal.

Massive statement of intent by the club with this three year deal.
I am so looking forward to next season.
If the other players PD is hoping to bring in are as good as the two we have already got it will be fantastic.

Well done also to the Board for allowing this to happen.

A very impressive signing on a long deal. Hope the old Rovers strikers' curse doesn't come back!

Lets just keep the size of the budget out of it, eh? ;)

Keep the greedy agents guessing......
