He hasn’t got away with it.. he’s just a had his prison sentence suspended..

He’s still guilty as hell..

Didn’t think it would be long before we got a Saunders thread today.
He must have a good lawyer.
As he wasn’t actually involved in an accident 10 weeks prison was quite harsh compared to what is usually dished out.
Having said that anyone who drinks and drives deserves to have the book thrown at them imo.

10 weeks should be the minimum for any bas**rd who gets behind the wheel in that state. Plus a lifetime driving ban.

A tokenistic prison sentence serves no purpose. Whats the point of costing the tax-payer money and him sitting in a cell with someone off their head on Ketamine.
The 200 hour unpaid work and removal of his licence is far more fitting (should be permanent). I'd have whacked a significant fine on him as well, but no idea if that's an available punishment.

Far more likely to be spice (novel psychoactive substances)
Prisoners tend to prefer to somnulent drugs to stimulent drugs makes the sentence go more quickly
