You post absolute tripe and to be honest looking at the last one you should lay off whatever you are drinking/taking. The board listen to the VSC, it is a line of communication between the club and the fan base and has been done to death by sm. In respect to Martin (sm) I have the upmost respect for the man, he has done far more for the relationship between us as fans and the club than most know. I hope he gets the chance to relax and actually enjoy going to games in the future he more than deserves to, it’s a thankless task being on the VSC and when Martin leaves it will leave a big hole.

There haven't been many who are against this choice, admittedly he wasn't SMs first choice but to suggest Wellens is not the VSC favoured choice is silly.

Simple really.  If the club announce the appointment whilst details of the contract were still to be agreed they immediately hand all bargaining power to the appointee.

I would imagine the appointee will want to go home for the weekend and spend some time with his family before packing a bag in readiness for a hectic week ahead, with many media commitments lined up and some work to get down to. Probably being booked into a hotel for the first week at least .

What was “drawn out” about it? In my experience of recruitment, it was really very quick.
