So sad, I loved him when I was a kid. Poor man.  :(

We have his ex Liza (Skippy) Goddard living round here, she'll turn up for the opening of an envelope..

She was a right honey in Bergerac in the 80s.

Ahh Liza Goddard. I think my first experience of conflicted emotions was watching her on an Angel Delight or Birds custard advert when I was about 12.

Sat in the front room at my grandma's in slate-grey Denaby. Watching this upper middle-class bint in some home counties, sun-drenched garden, telling us to use this packaged shite to (and I quote verbatim from memory) "Jolly-up your puds."

I had this feeling of intense class hatred, and a stonk-on at the same time.

Careful Billy, I think that's what happens to Mick when he reads your posts. ;)
