Dean Saunders comments on Michael Woods

Interesting from Saunders following the match. Woods was out for 14 months after snapping his cruciate ligaments, then got fit and almost immediately dislocated his ankle and was out for another 14 months. We are paying him the grand total of zero while he proves himself. U-21 friendly v Dingles on Monday he might play in or v Chesterfield on Tuesday. Saunders has never seen him play a game but came recommended by Brian Flynn.

Also said that he's essentially on trial, but is registered to play simply so we can fill the bench. Shows that it's a low risk deal on our part, and we're not committed to anything if he turns out to be shite.
