I think it was a three year contract to supply shirts. So one more next season.

I thought that too.

With the shit service and product they've dished us up with we should be trying our best to get out of the contract at the end of this season imo.

However it's better than the original anyways.

I agree,  but its not really the point

Last seasons design wasn't like the winning entry either.

It was a mash up of a couple of entries and then they did the thin hoop, fat hoop business to make life easier for themselves with the sponsors logo.

Presumably the club are just going to keep quiet on this and hope:

a) no one notices
b) no one cares
c) it just goes away quietly

Presumably in the list of priorities it's a little bit lower than takeovers and players.

Does the same person sign the players, run the club shop, edit the website and deal with takeovers?

Wowzers.

It's not even the same one as the one in the promotional shoot either.

The club didn't even realise it was different until today when they received a phone call pointing it out!

Avec are awful!

(Apologies if that's classed as a moan).

I think its been filed under FACT! actually.  Interesting that Crystal Palace have dropped them for the coming season.  I'll add this to the agenda for the next meeting with the club (early next week).  Just Sports need to account for this.

to answer the point raised earlier.

the sponsors name IS NOT stuck on this year, its woven into the top, so much better and like the older versions of the top last time we were in league 1.

for the record i prefer this to the original design, im sure it was changed by executive decision, probably at the request of One Call i would guess, cant see AVEC just doing it without someone knowing.

either that or the work experience kid just got fired...

Fans shouldn't get to design the shirts, all you get is loads of different favourites & fans moaning about the choice.

in short yes.

iron on sponsors logo.

they then sold MY pre-order and paid for shirt to someone in the shop on the saturday they were released because they felt it would be inappropriate not to....

and no, i didnt just make that up, i still have the email from them... let that sink in, they sold the shirt, i paid for on credit card to another person who just wandered into the store, because they felt like it.. then made me wait for mine... wasnt until the second game of the season i finally got it, then the lettering peeled off...

they did mention something about vouchers for the club shop, cant recall if i ever got them though.. fuzzy on that bit, so i have no trust of just sports tbh.

for some reason it didnt copy my text.

yes its the same ones... just sport.

the same company who sold my PRE ORDER shirt to another fan, even though id paid for it on credit card in advance and  been billed, because they felt it would not be appropriate to keep it off sale... yes really, i still have the email.

when i did get it 2 weeks after the first game of the season.. the lettering peeled off... peed off was not the word, i have no trust for just sports whatsoever.

remember Shaun had to step in and resolve it, otherwise i would have take fists to peoples faces in the club shop.

The shirts produced with fan involvement always sell well.

i think its a great idea... there arent really any negatives to it, the majority wins... majority sells...

win win.

not according to Just Sports... their initial emails to me were nothing short of insulting and rude, and i hadn't even been rude at that point.. just polite and factual :)

I doubt punching one of the club shop staff would have made you popular. Mind I'd back that tracy against you!
