I am surprised that DF is finding it difficult to find clubs for the 5 listed players. Like them or dislike them they are all capable of performing in league 2. Williams should find somewhere easily.
-
All depends on what other clubs want to pay them. Williams for example will be on good money with us, won't want to take a big cut to leave.

Every club is getting rid of dead wood , so there must hundreds looking around it must become a buyers market and it's a bit harder to shift players in contract when there getting paid just still down .
-
Why buy now and pay a months wages for them to sit on the beach?
-
Look at last season the number of players we moved on who in my opinion we not as good as what we have listed at the end of this season.
Personally I can see etheridge Lund and Middleton end up in the conference with Evina and Williams with league 2 moves.
-
Andy Williams will be in League One.
-
why would they move to the conference when they can stop here on good money till there contract runs out

Because a season of regular football is more beneficial than not playing at a League One club.
-
That did not apply to Even a last season we wanted shut but he dint want to go so he stayed and never hardly got a game
-
It's not always about money and Lund and Middleton don't seem to come accross as the type not wanting to play regular football , Etheridge needs a fresh start and Evina hasn't performed since a new deal
-
The last I heard, 3 of the 5 were talking to interested clubs. There was no news on Middleton or Lund and I think they will have a struggle on their hands to find a league club. As everyone has intimated, Williams should be OK, so long as he isn't demanding silly money. Evina and Etheridge I'm not sure.

It's only May 31st, the window isn't even technically open yet so I'd hardly say we're finding it difficult to shift these players.
-
Its still very early days. Players on holiday etc
-
Williams is the only player who could attract attention.
Etheridge, Lundand Evina couldn't get in our first team 16 squad on a regular basis Conference at best is their level.
Middleton needs to get fitter and faster to be anywhere near a league two side.
-
A good spine of a decent reserve team there if they do not go...
-
But stopping progress for youth teamers getting in the reserves!
-
We have not had much sucess over the years. I am not saying I agree with what I said, but it would be stupid not to even give them a game in reserves

Sharp had about a year of sitting on the bench taking big money after he left us.

Some of the deadwood would have been better playing than some of the saplings we had on show the last four games of last season.
You cannot blame any of them for that cock up, and I would go as far as saying, Middleton and Lund would have been a big improvement on some that played in those games.
They certainly could not have done any worse.
