Look to be in a tight match although currently down14-12 at half time to Keighley in the semi final tie so all to play for in the second half.
Come on lads you can do it.
-
At least big brother is watching.

Losing 26-18 with 17 mins to go.
-
26-22 with 3 mins to go.
-
This is nailbiting. Two tries for Don's disallowed in last 3-4 mins.
-
Levelled it at the hooter. Converstion to win it...
-
Wow. Equalising try as the hooter sounded. Conversion to win it.
-
Snap.
-
Converted it from the touch line!!!!
-
That was almost Griffin Park-esque.
-
Great result, delighted for them.
-
That was a Brentford type ending.
-
What a win, a try after the hooter had sounded by keeping the ball in play and a great long conversion to win the game 28-26 brilliant. I hope big brother enjoyed watching it.
-
Brilliant. They had free coaches and a few hundred there today. Hopefully can get a few more travelling for the final.
-
Great to hear. Sounds like a right game!
-
I see the vicar hasn't posted on this Don's thread.
Hope he's OK.
-
If I know Dave if he is up to it he will be there, probably hopped over the wall and on the pitch at the end, I hope so anyway
-
Haven't seen him post for a while Selby.
I've known Dave all my life. Used to play cricket and football together in sunny Skellow as kids.
-
TT didn't realise, yes I too hope he is OK, a great lad.

TT Hope he's ok, Sit behind him at Rovers and he's not been to last 2 home games
-
What a ending, unbelievable finish... 1 more game to go
-
What a finish it was, unlike super league no video ref and both disalllowed tries were tight calls, but no doubt even harder game in final next week away at Workington.
On to Dave I don’t think he is that well at minute but hopefully the win yesterday for rovers and dons today has put abit of smile on his face
-
Brilliant performance well done Dons
-
Well done the Don's showed some great character to win that,
-
Didn’t get in early enough on the forum to start a “Doncaster reach League 1 Playoff Final” thread, but watched the game live on OurLeague where it was being streamed for free.
Dons were pants early doors and did well to get back into the game, but then looked dead and buried with 5 to go - until that fantastic nail-biting late flourish and winning it with the last kick of the game.
Brilliant stuff and good luck for the final next Sunday.
-
What a weekend for club Doncaster and sport in general for the town
I didn't get to the rovers yesterday with work commitments but I've been to Keighley today. Amazing end to the game, what scenes at the end.
Those that don't believe in club Doncaster need to go and get felt!
-
Absolutely brilliant, what a comeback, nerves of steel to kick that from the touch line.
Let’s hope they can do it in the final!
-
Definitely a pressure kick I doff my cap to him
-
Amazing effort by the mighty Dons - it took me back to Tattersfield, Nobby, Parkie, Kempy. Shame the final is in Workington. There would have been a decent crowd at the theatre of dreams.
-
Reminded me of the fantastic afternoon at Batley, when the Dons won promotion.

Had to get 4 buses to that match because my mate Zola made us miss the train. Was worth it though, my first real experience of sporting success before all my big days with the Rovers. Spoke to Brendan Carlyle about that game a couple of years ago in York, quite insightful!
Hope Dave is okay!
-
Forgive my ignorance but what happens if they win at Workington.
-
Promotion.
-
My memories of Tattersfield back in the 60's Kevin Doyle, Tank Goodyear, Heppie, Goodchild and then later my old mate Marra Towle
-
What a great end to the game. Well done Dons. :)
-
is there any footage going about...... would love to watch it.

Yeah, our old pal, Marra. Sadly passed away now.
Marra once played for Cementation I think it was in the Donny Sunday League. He got sent off in the first half after going straight through man and ball in a tackle. I always remember him going to ref when he was called over and calling the ref sir. Despite his manners, probably learned playing rugby he was sent straight off.

Yeah, our old pal, Marra. Sadly passed away now.
Loved it when he started playing left back for us and took all the goal kicks or free kicks around our penalty area an landed them in the opposing area, even having to ease back to make sure he didn't put it miles over their crossbar. Boy could he kick a ball be it round or oval
A lovely bloke as well

You can watch a full replay of the game by registering for a free account with the new online streaming service called ouRLeague. You register and input Dons as your club which will enable you to see the full replay .The final against Workington next week will also be streamed live free .It is not a pirate site and has been set up by the Rugby League themselves .The commentaries are good too .
I would add that the spirit and fight shown by the Dons v Keighley
was a joy to watch .

These are the kind of moments that make following your chosen team through the hard times so worthwhile. Money can't buy such things.

That was like the South Stand last Saturday when Cukur scored. Sheer pandemonium and joy.
