Blues as in Birmingham? Hope we have a sell-on clause!

It would have been nice of the mention that it was Rovers who developed his talent and sold hom on to Leicester.

Skysports \"understands\" that Blues are interested = One hat full of middling Prem clubs, one hat full of good quality Championship players. Bingo, we have a story!

If it generates a bit of interest in Wellens and we've got a sell-on clause it'll do for me though.

Just a pub team with no players worth poaching, move along please. Nothing to see here.   B)

Fair play to him. I'm sure he'd grab the opportunity if it came. He's 31 this year and probably won't get a better chance to play in the Prem unless Leicester sneak up into the play off picture this season.

How many central midfielders do Birmingham need though? Ferguson, Bowyer, Gardner, Fahey, Michel, Hleb, Larsson who can play there and Mutch looking promising coming through the ranks. He probably won't find it easy to break into the team there!

No idea about the sell on Mush, but I hope you realise we are unbeaten since we started wearing these silly Santa hats.

I think we may  have to stick with them a bit longer just in case.

That's how Saturday Santa got started, one Christmas he turned up at Belle Vue in said Santa hat and proclaimed he wouldn't stop wearing it until Rovers were promoted and so it became a fixture for many years.

Wellens is a very good championship player, but his lack of pace surely means he'd struggle in premiership. Good luck to him though.
