I really want us to win but Forest will have the confidence playing at home and if SOD is down to their turn in fortunes they will have a point to prove against us.

I think there is only one goal in it and I'm hoping it will 1-0 Rovers, but I wouldn't be surprised if Forest nicked it...

Nottingham Forest 2 - 4 Doncaster Rovers, much like the 08/09 season. Despite the fact we couldn't hit a barn door

Forest have the second worst home defensive record in the Championship, having conceded 27 goals (only Barnsley and Watford on 28 goals are worse). By contrast we have only conceded 17 goals at home all season.

Similarly Forest have the second worst goal scoring record at home with 14 goals scored all season. The worst is us with 13 goals.

You need to compare their home form to our away form though, our home form has no bearing on this fixture.

2-4 with Bagayoko being the 2012 Heffernan. (175/1)

In the real world, if we keep to 0-0 for first 20 mins we'll nick it 1-0. They'll be pumped up and full of confidence, and the crowd will be expecting a win, we have to dull the game down.

I have visions of Diouf putting on a show of brilliance to prove his class and to silence  his critics.

I also see another fine City ground performance from Martin Woods (if he plays!)

I see the whole team performing as a solid unit for the first time.

Forest 1  Rovers 4 (Diouf 3  Woods 1).

Not expecting much, can see both teams scoring, but can sadly see them piling on pressure. Wouldn't be surprised if we lost

Never thought I would say this about Forest, but I can't see us stopping them from scoring, and honestly can't see us getting more than 1 (I seem to say this about us every game at the minute!)

1-1, and either something special, a mistake or set piece to make it 2-1 to either team.

To close to call, will be leaving it out of my bet tonight put it that way!

Right behind the lads tonight. Just meeting them at the wrong time and god knows what's going to happen.

Oh for a Boxing Day turnaround

Come on Donny!

If DRFC play this team in 3-3-4 formation ( infinatly adjustable too )

__________________Ikeme_________________

       Chimbonda____Beye____Martis

        Gillett____Spurr____Barnes

Dieuf_______Bagayoko_____Picionne( Sp )_____Coppinger

Subs Hird, Bennett, O'Connor, Robert, Plessis.

I can see a decent win for DRFC 0-2.

Could take that formation one stage further and go for 3-3-0(3)-4.
A defensive midfield, passing it through or over their packed midfield leaving it for the front 4 to push on with the defensive midfield 3 pushing up to mop up poor clearances when we're attacking. Genius!

Go on then clever fella, lets see your team and formation, and see who runs closest.

Edit.. Ah i see you did post team and formation while i was posting.

5 across midfield, typical SOD tactic.

We're away from and our away form is shocking! playing 3-3-4 would be suicide!
