We are in the 5th Round for the first time since 1956 and for the first time since 1879 I have given the Ref 3
Well done to the Spino (Lino with b***s) on West Sand for giving Pen but how did Ref miss it ?

Only a 3 from me how gave Wilkes a yellow but didn't for the initial foul from the 27
And how 10 kept getting away with his wrestling moves

O’Grady, got away with at least three headlocks

I have seen Sunday Mirror give 7 out of 10 and MOS give him 3 out of 5 so my 3 is bang on the money
He did miss a lot but crikey which Ref doesnt - and only got one look at everything.
imo Wilks made it easy for him to flourish a Yellow Card at him. He was being fouled (as usual) and the Yellow Booted Oldham player clogged him late and in the context of the game was a Yellow Card - but MW having gone down should with hindsight maybe stayed ther
Instead Oldham played on MW jumped up and I knew the outcome. Sure enough a chop down by Wilks 10 yards away. I still think the Ref might have left them both alone or Booked both right at that point but he called Wilks back again and again. He did not acknowledge the Refs call and so the Ref actually shrugged his shoulders and came out with a Card

And with that one stupid action he is banned from the Palace game, and of course no Smith as well.
