Having witnessed several ludicrous appointments during my working career by a company that deemed those who impressed in the interview to be the deciding factor of successful applicants, despite knowing of their much less impressive performance in real life, I hope the Rovers board don't use the same method.

it's a difficult one and in truth I have a bit of sympathy..Interviewing isn't easy..Nobody who sits in front of you tells you they are rubbish,i do a lot of it..I've had some great successes and some disasters too...
Of course it's easier for me,if I think I've made a mistake early on,i can terminate the position and start again..The board have one chance to get it right...

Their interview process involves four questions
1) what is this round thing filled with air
2) what is that large rectangle of grass used for
3) what are those white posts with netting on the back for
4) how much do you want when we sack you in the next six months
😀😀😀

In fairness, the one thing we don’t do is sack managers prematurely.
We’ve had fewer managers since the War than Leeds have had in the last 10 minutes.
