Sunderland til I die

Anyone seen this yet on Netflix? Watched the first two episodes and would really recommend it so far. It’s obviously made out to be very dramatic (losing at home to Celtic in a pre season friendly is shown as effectively causing riots) but it’s nonetheless a fascinating watch and a good insight into a number of well known names (Lee Cattermole, Simon Grayson, Darron Gibson) - some come across better than you’d expect, others not so much. Also a (so far) cameo from our very own Glynn Snodin, aka Driving Miss Daisy.

The Celtic game co-incided with Laxley-Lennon AKA Tommy Robinson EDL/UKIP facist book signing in the town, hence anti-IRA/Celtic hatred hyped up by the knuckle draggers he attracts- so it was more political than football....
