Today’s team
COYR
-
Can’t believe sadlier isn’t starting
-
Looks like 4-3-3 again, you would have thought GM would have learnt his lesson playing this formation against inform teams away from home.
I fear the worse , but you never know.
-
Hoping McCanns learned, no long ball game and we play a different formation today, Come on 👏👏👏
-
I agree, it isn't the personnel it is the tactics, play to our strengths, quick on the floor passing and shoot on sight!
-
I hear that Oxford have made eight changes.
-
I hear that Oxford have made eight changes.
That's true .
Only Whyte , Long and Nelson played in their game against Shrewsbury.
-
Why has Anderson been dropped? Dissapointed with that, he was probably our best players vs Accrington
-
Glad to see Copps back in the team.
-
Just had the worst in ground burger I think I've ever had, one bite was enough to ask for my money back. Absolutely vile..
-
Did you get a refund?
-
Just feeling sorry for the poor bloke who gets a burger with a bite out of it though.
-
3 mins late. poor service
-
Come on Rovers..... :clapping:
-
Is the wind still really strong in Oxford.
-
Goal

-
John Marquis adds to his tally for the season, heading home from a Mallik Wilks cross! 0-1 #DRFC #OXFDON
8' GOAL Doncaster. A cross comes in from the right and John Marquis heads past Eastwood to open the scoring. #OUFC 0-1 #DRFC
COYR
-
Yeeeeesssss
-
GOOOAAAALLL
-
Ahem... that's 1-0 to the Rovers.
-
Well worked goal. Good cross in by Wilks. Nice cushioned header across the keeper by Super John.
-
Long live Marquis!
-

Yahoooooooo.
Good job he started then.
-
f**k sake
-
1-1. Bugger.
-
f**k
-
No worse than we were at kick off then.
-
13' Goal Oxford United. Marcus Browne with quick feet to take him past the Rovers defence and finish past Marko Marsoi. 1-1 #DRFC #OXFDON
Great play down the left involving Ruffels, Hanson and BROWNE sees the winger cut into the area, ride a tackle and shoot under Marosi to level the scores. #OUFC 1-1 #DRFC
COYR
-
Come on Donny let's get that lead back
-
Blair lost his man.

Rovers playing better today?
-
Blair lost his man.
not for the first time
-
Blair lost his man.
not for the first time
Yeah, coz no other defenders do that do they?
-
We’re not getting a grip in this game so far
-
Bloody hell Matty. Almost gifts them another.
-
Stats showing Oxford having best of play.can anyone at game please update us. Cheers.
-
We could do worse than take a look at a couple of these Oxford players. Browne and Whyte look useful.
-
Were still struggling with the basics i.e. passing to a team mate .
-
We could do worse than take a look at a couple of these Oxford players. Browne and Whyte look useful.
I think we were after Gavin Whyte at one time.
-
And Henry - worth a look?
-

We were mentioned but he went to Oxford.

Certain Pen on Marquis not given.
-
Certain Pen on Marquis not given.
Nothing unusual there then.
-
Ooooh good shot from John there.
-
Couple of questionable ref decisions. Same old eh?
-
Ref can’t count. Just measured out 9 yards.
-
Just going from DFP updates, we're rushing the passing again and giving the ball away cheaply. We need to be more patient and do the basics better.
-
Wallsall score.
-
Ref can’t count. Just measured out 9 yards.
Sure it was metres?
COYR
-
Walsall lead Peterborough!
-
Walsall, come on
-
Ref can’t count. Just measured out 9 yards.
Could have been fathoms in the ref’s mind but it was still 9.
COYR
-
Come on rovers back on it after half time need 2 goals to finish these off
-
Playing a dangerous game here. Same defensive frailties I’m afraid. Same players giving the ball away and Copps and Wilks have gone missing. Copps looks slow and gives the ball away and Wilks is just not in this game. Please let’s have a blood and thunder second half.
-
4231 required?
-
We need to improve this half, we're our own worst enemy again.
Most of their attacks have come from our mistakes.
Downing needs to come off before he's sent off, Anderson should start the second half.
-
It worked well for us when forced by injury to use it.
Let's have Saddlier on for 2nd half.
-
Ref can’t count. Just measured out 9 yards.
Sure it was metres?
COYR
10 yards = 9. 1 metres. Therefore 9 steps, eh?!
-
Discipline and patience required. Let's hope Copps is pacing himself for a full 90+ minutes!
-
Ref can’t count. Just measured out 9 yards.

9 steps and a little bit 😉

SUBSTITUTON | Rovers have made a change at the break.
OFF - Paul Downing
ON - Tom Anderson
1-1 #DRFC #OXFDON
COYR
-
We are better in the 2nd half come on rovers get that top 6
-

1-1 #DRFC #OXFDON
COYR
Afraid of a second yellow?
-
Walking a tight rope on the yellow not worth the risk
-
that was lucky
-
Shite
-
Play 4231 protects defence puts Copps in the middle Rowe left Wilks right.
-
Off side after marosi spills a long range shot.
-
49' Goal Oxford. James Henry from close range. Marsoi was able to stop the first effort but was unable to do anything about the strike from the rebound. 3-1 #DRFC #OXFDON
Eastwood's long kick is perfect for Gavin Whyte who controls it and drives towards goal. His shot is blocked but James HENRY is on hand to put the rebound into the net. #OUFC 2-1 #DRFC
COYR
-
Shit
-
Come on donny
-
Shite
-
Game over, we don't do come backs
-
Come on need to react
-
Come on you Reds.... :scarf:
-
We don't want to go up.
-
Has it been disallowed?
-
Well and truly over now f**k sake
-
Ref can’t count. Just measured out 9 yards.
Why do you always have a pop at my comments? You never fail do you? Pedant.
Sure it was metres?
COYR

Oh, for crying out loud, give it a rest! :headbang:
-
Has it been disallowed?
1 disallowed , then scored 1 min later.
-
End of season again and the arse falls out again
-
Think it's 2-1, not 3-1. A few confusing tweets there.
-
As it stands there is no change - he only problem is that if Coventry win tomorrow, they can overtake us on the final day....... so it will be a more difficult day.
-
f**king hell. Another disallowed. WTF is going on?
-
Another 1 disallowed
-
Rovers Twitter said 3-1 still in this come on we can do it
-
We are shocking!! Ball in the back of the net 3 times!!!
-
Game over, we don't do come backs
Glad you aren’t a player then.
-
1 goal and two dissallowed goals already in the second half
-
league 1 we're here to stay
-
When will GM learn his 433 is not working now but the stubborn man won’t change.
-
They've had it in the net 3 times in 7 mins.
-
Come on Rovers.
-
This is shocking
-
league 1 we're here to stay
There are times when I wonder whether it’s worth following this forum, when we have attitudes like this!
-
Sadlier for Rowe. Good.
-
Walsall 2-0

Walsall 2-0 up

Sounds like the lack of composure on the pitch is reflected in this thread! 😂

I know right? And with that we almost equalise. Keep the faith.

That 16/1 on Coventry looks a massive price now

im a realist
-
2-0 Walsall
-
34 mins to find a draw
-
We really are struggling at the moment. Theres 5 decent teams then the rest it seems.
-
Saddlier should have scored.
-
Peterborough 2 down. Draw would be huge now, come on
-
The leveler is coming.
-
if we got 2 now and posh don't score, we are in the playoffs! think positive peeps!
-
YESSSSSS
-
And there it is.
-
Come on
-
Yesssssssss
-
Ref can’t count. Just measured out 9 yards.

-
Yeeesss
-

-
OG
-
Rovers are level. Danny Andrew's cross turned in by Oxford's Nico Jones.
61' GOAL to Doncaster. Danny Andrew gets a cross over from the left and the ball hits Nico Jones and deflects past Eastwood. #OUFC 2-2 #DRFC
COYR
-
:) thank god Ronnie Corbett was never a ref.
-
Change of formation and it pays off almost straight away
-
Come on. Huge last 30 mins.
-
Stick or twist?
Do we look after the ball and see the game out for a point, given that Posh are losing?
Or do we go for it, try to get the 3 points and bury Posh and Cov's hopes in the process?
Decisions, decisions.....
-
Come on Rovers
-
We have to go for it if we can, without doing anything stupid.

No way do we stick, we never do well when we try that

Like me, RTR, you used to be known as indecisive..............now you’re not so sure! 😀

Christ I’m nervous.
-
We look a lot better when it’s on the floor and quicker
-
My heart rate is off the scale!

Haha
Me, I've long been an advocate of never settling for a point. However, given where we are in the season and our position in the league, I'd snatch your hand off for one now.
-
Christ I’m nervous.
shaking like a shitting dog

Agreed, but we should just carry on like an average game,we are decent attacking side as is,not go gung-ho for a winner and raising the risk of conceding.
-
if we draw they need to beat Pompey if we lose then a draw against Pompey will do and take it to last game.
Could be massive if we can hold on
-
Smith, may or Crawford who to bring on and for who
-
Christ I’m nervous.
shaking like a shitting dog
Just a bit more exciting than the end of last season lads.
-
Walsall 3-0 up
-
Walsall 3-0 up on Posh now.
-
Walsall 3 nil now
-
Posh 3-0 down now :woohoo:
-
if both matches stay as they are, posh need to win both their remaining games effectively, due to our superior GD (and hope we don't win against cov) :aok:
-

Only if we win BJW, otherwise we are only 4 points ahead

Close from Mallik

Me too, RTR. With Posh 3 down, a point would go a long securing our place in the play offs.
You Reds!
-
Accrington winning 5-0,makes tues result look not so bad
-
Yes but they’d need to win both games as if they get 4 points we would be above on GD
-
Its interesting isn't it, do we try to take a point which may well be enough? A win is pretty much everything done, who'd be a manager.
-
this game has given me a thumping headache
-
We just need to win then we've 99% done it
-
Anyone remember Oxford's 96th min winner here last season.
-
Yes but they’d need to win both games as if they get 4 points we would be above on GD
Yeh, I guess I am the eternal pessimist with all things Rovers :headbang:
-
Anyone remember Oxford's 96th min winner here last season.
97th minute
-
Anyone remember Oxford's 96th min winner here last season.
97th minute
And same player at keepmoat about same min this season too! For a equaliser.
-
I remember Oxford’s injury time equaliser at Christmas. My son’s first game.
-
interesting at the top - Luton are losing and Barnsley are currently level with them on points. Barnsley could actually snatch 1st place on the last day of the season
-
Time for us to get the last minute winner
-
Come on Portsmouth
-
Blow the whistle!
-
All over
-
we're all Pompey fans on Tuesday then
-
That's a good result against a form team.
All eyes on tuesday night.
-
I’d have taken that at3pm
-
Crikey, first time a Ref has listened to my advice lol
-
we're all Pompey fans on Tuesday then
Peterbro last two are going to be very hard for them to win.
-
we're all Pompey fans on Tuesday then
Too right we are!
-
So Peterborough have to beat Portsmouth on Tuesday. Portsmouth will be well up for it considering today’s results
-
All eyes now on the Pompey Peterborough game Tuesday, Come on Pompey do us a favour
Anyway, good point today, onwards and upwards
COYR
-
Feel less nervy now,Thanks to Fergies annual end of season poor form
-
Portsmouth have to win to keep their auto promo hopes alive going into the last day.
Coventry now out of it unless they have a massive win tomorrow.
-
Pompy could actually win the league, so they are going to go at Peterborough
-
Feel less nervy now,Thanks to Fergies annual end of season poor form
And Coventry now out of it barring a 14 goal difference swing
-
Could ultimately be the point that makes the difference, that. Peterborough need to win their last two now against tough opponents, and Coventry are out of it unless they thrash us by 6 or 7.
-
actually, I'll be hoping for a 0-0 on Tuesday, got a soft-spot for Barnsley and that would see them promoted
-
Coventry are out of it unless they thrash us by 6 or 7.
No-way Coventry can catch us - we have 14 goals on them!
-
Coventry are out of it unless they thrash us by 6 or 7.
No-way Coventry can catch us - we have 14 goals on them!
Coventry could do it with a huge win over us. Massively unlikely but don't forget, 14 goals is "only" a 7-0 win over us, and of course in this scenario they will have beaten Shrewsbury tomorrow too to bring that gap down.
If we only need to avoid a 7-0 loss next Saturday then I'll be going in feeling relaxed!
-
Game over, we don't do come backs
What was that you said?
-
Advantage Rovers :)
-
We are lucky that must win games for posh and cov are against teams who have something to play for, neither will play thinking of summer break and the beach. There is relegation and promotion at stake.
-
Did you get a refund?
yes mate, it was one of those deals where they are being constantly kept Luke warm in a foil bag, the look of the translucent cheese was enough to make anyone hurl!!!
-
We are lucky that must win games for posh and cov are against teams who have something to play for, neither will play thinking of summer break and the beach. There is relegation and promotion at stake.
Shrewsbury (playing Coventry) are safe.
Plymouth, fourth bottom, can catch them on points but have to overturn a seventeen goal deficit.
-
Shrewsbury have honour to play for live on sky fingers crossed a few of there players go out trying to get new clubs or contracts
