.....QPR at home ? We would need another keeper
-
Chorley at home please.
-
Non league or top premiership team please! :clapping:
-
NOT Oldham.
-
Non league team at home hopefully.
-
Away tie for me as home advantage has just about disappeared now !!
-
We will get a top Prem Team away seen as we can't attend
-
NOT Oldham.
We are due.
Have them at home. Would give us an excellent chance of a 4th round tie.
-
It will almost certainly be some tough but dull Championship game. Boro or Blackburn again.
-
As ever Mr Pessimist......it will be away - probably Swansea......or knowing our bad luck Manu / Liverpool away.......with no fans!!!
-

Premier League!
-
It's bound to be Leeds.
-
Stuck on to be Man Utd away. And no fans allowed...
-
Anyone know how much for a round 3 appearance
-

Does that include the Carlisle commentator? He was a big Man Utd fan.
-
The key thing this season is surely getting draws against the weakest teams in the competition, preferably at home. With any chance of an upset we potentially get TV coverage and each time we progress it's money in the bank. Away to Boro would be about the least attractive draw. A draw against a top side with no fans is pointless and won't put much in the bank. 2021 is all about survival and income streams.
-
Well it won’t be Hull City. Just lost on penalties.
-
Crawley Town away
-
Crawley Town away
Can you imagine Max Watters winning it for them. Oh no please rather have Reading away. Maybe not on second thoughts. At least it will not be Gillingham away. :woohoo: or at home.
-
Not sure why anyone would want an away game. Even though it seems to be easier to win away games without crowds there’s still the travel involved for the squad. Home game all the way for me.
-
Marine at home for me
-
Third Round winners: £82,000
losers ......nothing .
Fourth round winners 130,000 losers nothing
Fifth round winners 140,000 ..idem .

Would only want an away game against one of the so called big 6 clubs if say 15/20% of the Stadium was open to fans.
That along side possible TV revenue would give us extra revenue.
Otherwise a home game every time definitely.
-
Thinking Man City away .
-
With our luck we will draw a "plum" tie and not be able to go
So have the weakest Team at home - win and hope for the "plum" draw in Round 4 maybe ?
-
Sod’s law says this is the year rovers draw a really big plum tie like spurs or Man U, city or Liverpool away. And we won’t be able to go
-
Draw is at 7.10 tomorrow on BBC - we are ball number 61.
-
So I’ll hope for the lowest team left in the company at home please. And the same in rd 4 and 5 until such time as we can get to a game please.

That could be the Final then. Sounds like a good plan to me.
The lowest ranked team left in the Quarter Final could be one of the top 7 Premier league teams and the Semi Final top 3 teams.
Easy peasy, see you at Wembley then. ;) :)
-
Sorry you wont .... Wembley (London) will be in lockdown so Final has to be played at nearest suitable available Ground to it - so with Swansea and Cardiff being returfed its .... Rodney Parade im afraid
-
Easy tie winnable and pays squad wages for 2 weeks
-

Ahem...
-
Rubbish, no money and an easily lose able tie. Just hope Blackburn are going great guns, so play the fringe players...
-
The problem is having played us earlier they will possibly give us more respect and pick a stronger side. Can't see it being on TVs either.
-
We were only behind for 9 minutes out of the 90 minutes in the EFL Cup. Not sure they are all that.
-
There are some great ties for the little teams. Blackburn away is meh but at least it’s not a top team away since we can’t go. If we beat Blackburn we may get to go to the 4th round

Agreed, I think there's enough Non-League v Premiership/Championship to fill the TV slots.
-
Two threads on this subject.
Can the mods amalgamate them please.

I doubt it. Don’t mean we won’t win, just can’t see away fans till after we have had the vaccine.
The Max in grounds will possibly be increased to 4000 / 5000 right through till we have all been vaccinated i suspect.
-
When we played Blackburn before no Whiteman, Smith and Sims and JJ so we will have to see it will be about how games weve played and fitness
-
It could get moved to iPlayer
-
I doubt it - 32 matches in round 3 and this is hardly a glamour tie.
