Ever scored a tap in, all five of his goals and the penalty have been absolute cracking strikes, and calmness. Brilliant execution.
-
He’s a great finisher. Just needs to get involved a bit more from open play. The game passes him by sometimes. When he’s on the back he’s always looking forward and wants to be positive with it. He slid one pass through to the front men last night that was world class.
-
He also played an excellent three yard pass, under pressure, to either Butler or Baudry on the edge of our own box in the first half.
If he had got it wrong it could easily have led to a goal against us.
Total quality and confidence by Ben.
-
I think the added value of Baudry over the unfortunate Wright has been the long forward passes that find the man or space infront of him as the pass that eventually led to last night's goal by Whiteman . Rowe takes on the dribble from the edge of the box whereas Whiteman has a go himself .. a good balance .

You were wondering
90+3' Ben Whiteman has stabbed the ball home 1-1 #DRFC
Seems he will/has

half volley racing into box to a great ball from May.
-
Not really a tap in then.
-
It looked close range from where we were sat.. Will be good to see the highlights later.

The ball from May was headed out into the path of Whiteman at some pace and he had little time to manoeuvre , making it an even better finish.

It may well have been close range IDM, I wasn’t there.
I class a tap in as similar to the one Copps got the other day or when someone slots home after the keeper has parried a shot.

Tap in compared to some of his goals

He may have done now.

Agreed, first class striker like reactions.
Never a tap in.
-
Hound, probably agree with you. so I will add it to his screamer list.
And officially no one at Doncaster has seen score a tap in.
Only BORING SCREAMERS. GET IN

Ha, funnily enough mate I said at the Rochdale game after that screamer, “he never gets a tap in”.
-
Great minds think alike Hound, you have now been elected the official judge if he scores again, is it a tap in or screamer.
Not a duty to be taken lightly I may add.

I hope it is on Saturday then.

He’ll not be scoring anymore for us!

Hound, you and I are now laid off, pity that, all we are left with are memories of just screamers.
-
Disappointed with the news about Whiteman being recalled.
I suppose this is one of the perils of loan players being key members of the team.
Selby, having just retired a couple of weeks ago, the screamer job would have been my first part time one.
-
Time to enjoy life now Hound, you will no doubt find that you don't know how you had time to work, the better half will see to that.
I found it difficult to adjust at first, and missed the crack, but got there in the end, I hope you have a long and happy one.

Selby, my job involved lots of day to day contact with customers and suppliers and I have no doubt that will be the part of going to work that I will miss the most.
