FA Cup Prize Money
« on January 04, 2018, 12:39:21 pm by Wiltshire Exile »
According to the FA website, http://www.thefa.com/competitions/thefacup/more/prize-fund, there is £67,500 up for grabs on Saturday. That's on top of the £45,000 already earned from the previous two rounds. Lovely jubbly!

(Winners of the 4th Round match between Rovers and Man City earn £90,000. )

Is it on top or just one payment depending on which round you get eliminated in?

The payments are successive, i.e. paid out after each round is played.

Interesting. It means for a club like us, looking at a mid-table finish in the league, winning this match should very much be a priority.

Definitely. And a plum draw in the next round could be even better with a significant chunk of any gate receipts.
