We have a better home record ,than their away record. The value bet for me is Rovers. Yes we have been terrible, but on Saturday we found the net twice ,which would usually be a win if your defending is decent, admittedly against side in the league below. We do ok usually against Oxford, a 3-2 win for us in the past against them. I see  3-2 win for us. So both teams to score is the best value in my opinion.

Shrewsbury look quite attractive at 29/20 on Saturday, drew with Sunderland, beat Charlton, then won at Carlisle in the cup. We did sign their best player in the summer though.

I wonder if the bookies know we are deploying our secret weapons?

Don't know why but i'm going to stick £20 on us to win at 4/1. According to the Oxford forum, their side looks tired and they have absentees so maybe the weather will be a leveller and we can nick this. Yes we're shit, but our home form isn't bad.

Come on the lads!! £100 quid winnings here we come!!  :scarf: :scarf:

Sorry to be pedantic, but if that bet comes in it’s £80 winnings and stake back. Total £100.

Yep. Sorry, NR. Meant £100 in total back so you are right, £80 winnings.

Rovers nearly 5/1 now. Oxford now under 8/11. I expect Oxford will shorten even further, possibly to 8/13. Good news for those who took them at evens.

Goodness me. There must be some serious dough going on Oxford, and conversely, no one backing rovers .
In a lge one, two horse race, 5/1 is ridiculous for a home side. That’s fa cup odds against a championship squad.

Fans on the OU forum saying mostly that nothing but a win is acceptable. A few saying that they can see them getting done with a scrappy goal. Any goal would do!

Not gonna be a pretty night conditions wise so concerned about our willingness to be up for that and up for a battle, especially with some of the younger, more inexperienced lads who might feature this evening.

Can see us either nicking this in a tight game but conversely, can also see us getting absolutely mullered about 4 or 5 nil.

Just took the 9/2 currently on Skybet and bet £25 for us to win.

Dead money.  :crying:

Forecast says that rain will stop early tonight and just be fecking freezing and 40mph winds. I'm in the midlands though so be great to hear from anyone in Donny.

There are not two possible outcomes, there are three.

Of course. But the money appears to be going all one way. Of 8nyerest , 8 haven’t seen the draw odds. I tend to shy away from a draw.

Draw is 3/1 with Skybet so very decent indeed. A draw would be ok so long as we beat Shrewsbury on saturday but we need to win this game tonight. Fingers crossed.

Likewise, there is hardly a breath of wind at the moment here in Notts and where is this torrential rain we were told about? Got a bit blustery and a little rain about 2.00 Based on the forcast I decided not to make the trip up to Donny, much to my wifes relief but I will be really pissed off if this is the worst we are going to get

I should be comforted that my away win and both teams to score bet is up.
I’m not.
Genuine promise in that second half. Hammer blow winner.
Gutted.

Oxford went off at 4/7 a huge drop in price from even money as first quoted from the bookies.
