Successfully through to the next round of the Challenge Cup after a 54-0 win over the amateurs of West Hull.

They'll be hoping for a plum draw. Leeds at home would do nicely.

Dons away to Hunslet Hawks in the Challenge Cup. Not a great draw.

Another win. 44-28 at Keighley. This could be a good season for the Dons.

Went to Coventry Bears v Rochdale Hornets today, and Rochdale looked very good.
I reckon it's Toulouse Olympique to win the title then either Rochdale, Keighley or the mighty Dons to go up too this year. Then let's just consolidate for a couple of years and rebuild support.

Winning at Keighley is always a great joy :) Cheating bar stewards that lot were going right back to the 70's.  Dirty sods too. Complete generalisations of course, but beating them is always a special pleasure for me :)

In the Northern Rail Cup, which is the Rugby equivalent of the JPT. Crowds are gonna be lower than usual, particularly as the visitors were from London, as opposed to pretty much every other team being reasonably local.

I blame the board. If they had any ambition they'd be rounding folk up at gun point forcing them to attend.

Looking forward to their visit down the road to Coventry.......
I still have no real desire to see them at a 95% empty Keepmoat, nothing could beat Belle Vue, except of course Tattersfield!!

I loved Tattersfield! A total shit hole, but what an awesome, awesome place. Come back Dave Varey. A thug of the first order :) Loved him to bits I did.

Cheers

Not too sure whether I liked the proud, nicely painted Tattersfield which hosted a 6,000 crowd v Leeds in the last year before super league, or the derelict eyesore which had crowds as low as 98, (and I was one of them!!)

Brilliant always nice to see our teams doing well, have the injuries cleared up at all?. The Keighley result impressed me tough place to win at, and Crusaders are usually strugglers aren't they?, doesn't matter though, still a win.

I'm definitely up for a trip to Coventry. Might even see a team from Donny win, which would be something!

I muust be slipping. Badly. I only realised earlier this week where the Gloucestershire Old Golds play their homes matches. Straight over the road from one of the places Alex spends winter Saturdays doing things with cricket balls.

Top 8 confirmed after a very good win over London Skolars at the weekend. Two games of the regular season to go then on to the Super 8s.

The win today guarantees 4th place at least and four home games. I hope to get up to one of them.
