We all have good mates who may not be Rovers fans. Some of them may have tried to convert you to their team. Just for fun, what teams have your mates tried to tempt you with?

Here are mine:

Leeds United - No surprise
Spurs - Could be worse
Man Utd - Not unexpected
Chelsea - Way before the Russian ruler
S****horpe - Too close for comfort
Hull City - Steady tiger
Blades - My preferred choice if I were a Sheff lad.

For me, there's only been one team I've real passion for.Rovers. For life.

When we were in the conference I lived over in howden and a good mate used to get tickets and drive me to Blackburn rovers when they were in the premiership, as he tried to convince me that I could cheer for rovers and pretend they were Donny. He always laughed when I told him that one day we'd be playing them in the same league, the patronising tw*t!! Had a few good days out though and a bit later went to Cardiff to watch them win the worthington cup against spurs. It was never the same though and I always take great pleasure when Rovers beat Blackburn, in the same league! Hopefully next season we'll be playing them again!

The 1 constant in my life has been Rovers. Job, life, where I've lived in my short stint on earth, Rovers have remained the same.

However, if we were to go bust, more than likely be Gainsborough. Nice ground, good burgers.

Had a mate who supported West Ham,between 1974 to 76 ,i went with him to quite a few games when we didn't have agame.3 times to Upton park and away games at Arsenal,Wolves Derby,Sheff Utd Leeds Burnley and Middlesboro.Villa park for 75 facup semi-final and charity shield v Derby at Wembley.Had some interesting walks to and from railway stations in those days.
