You need a mix. We wouldn’t be able to attract a player of his ability. He will play in the championship or at a club that pays big wages.

No problem at all with 3 x 33+ year olds.
Would not be too keen on more than that.

We need a balance of youth 19 to 23 yr olds players in 24 to 29 yr age group and a few older experienced pros who have got the shirt, got promotion on their CV’s and are natural leaders.

We are getting a squad together it would seem that is getting towards that ideology.
