all travelling by car be aware that the M1 is closed at Tankersley, could be a nightmare journey

yeah iv been keeping an eye on it, apparently its partially open now, im setting off from the a1 barnsley/donny junction at about 6, hopefully the satnav will come to my rescue if there still problems then.

Does this affect the coaches, or are they still going at 5.45?

Says closed southbound between 36-37 so I imagine it won't effect many fans unless they are coming down from the Leeds area.

Just took me 90 mins to get from Leeds to Sheffield. It's fully open now but very busy.

My advice is stick with it and don't try to sneak off the motorway onto the A roads. I tried that at Junction 36 and it was worse! Ended up turning round and going back onto the motorway instead.

No problems Northbound.
