That rovers team that day was half full of kids and they played their hearts out but it was men vs kids and by time Rotherham got their 2nd goal you could see the hurt pain and tears in the kids that er playing for rovers that day.Could not name any one of the kids today as I guess they are no longer in football ,but seeing some of them in a right mess state of mind while playing that game has never left me.
There have been many in almost 60 years of following Rovers.Going onto the pitch after the Colchester game not knowing if we would have a club the next season. That has to be the worst feeling ever.
The whole of the 1997-98 season and the feeling the club was being destroyed. Nothing else comes close. The day Laurie Sheffield was sold in 1966Hearing about Birmingham's 93rd minute equaliser in 2014
Gilberto Silva. That's all I need to say.
Rotherham United away the towards the end of the season rovers went into the conference.
