Would it be easier hiring a van and driving it yourself?

That would be better but I've lost the paper part of my licence and can't hire one without it and need it doing in the next week.

Try Exchange at Hexthorpe. Barry is a decent bloke. Tell them you've lost your paper part and all they will do is ring DVLA and let them speak to you to confirm your details. Well thats what they did for me anyway when i've hired a van from them.

Hired through them in the end, and wish I hadn't. Wasn't told about having to pay a deposit and they've took £60 from my card without even telling me. Not happy at all.
