 mental health trusts being savaged, My friend is manager of one of the Mind day centers, they for the second time in it seems like only months are being 'Restructured' a fussy word for re apply for your job under a different title and different pay frame.

the threat of elderly patients being evicted from hospital beds..(Tho perhaps this will be seen as a mercy mission in some hospitals..) The shocking way some elderly patients are 'cared' for is truly frightening.

Thats before we even get to the poor sods stuck in Lybia..

Edinburgh-based bank RBS reported a net attributable loss of £1.1bn for last year, down from £3.6bn in 2009.

The bailed-out bank also confirmed that, as expected, Mr Hester will take his £2m bonus for last year and that its investment bankers will take home around £950m in bonuses.

£950m in bonuses equates to roughly the wages of 38,000 nurses for a year, or 50,000 NHS auxiliary staff.

What does the nhs no longer do that it did a year ago?
