You can see what Schofield is trying to do in terms of style. Trying to pass it more and play out from the back.

Wow what a goal that would have been - biggins from his own half!

We’ve been unlucky, definitely looked like handball for a pen not given, then a block on Miller but no corner given. There is certainly a style of play he wants us to play. Just need some of the team to get some confidence as we’ve looked far more dangerous in this half than we have in every other game this season

This is the best I’ve seen us play. I’m actually enjoying watching it for a change. There’s more energy and speed about things

Much much much better. Energy, movement, creating things. Enjoyable half, that.

Shame about that goal because other than that Rovers are much much better.

Visibly more energy and belief. They’ve had next to nothing since the goal and we’ve been pressing very well. Just need the end product.

Also what about that lob that hit their crossbar? WOW!

We've played well despite being 1 down. We should hopefully get back into this with the chances were creating.

Minority booed as they went off but good to see majority clapped the lads off.

We are losing but I am happier at this point than I have been for any Rovers match. They are going for it, moving the ball round well and have been unlucky not to score. I hope the second half is as positive.

I can take loosing if the lads are playing out there skins and putting max effort in so happy with that half and hopefully we can take some chances in second half , so much more energy in the game without Clayton slowing things down to his speed (walking) football

Thats the best first half we have played all season. Absolute breath of fresh air. We are the best side by far, and these are 2nd! Dont deserve to be 1 down.

I was saying to my boys - if this better football means consolidation this season, and kick on for next season, then I’m happy with that

AND - we are not losing possession so easily. Tom is doing a great job as well I’ve seen him point a couple of times to where he wants people to pass.

I can’t believe our fans sometimes. Booing every mistake. Shouting about getting it forward all the time. The lads are putting the effort in so get behind them.

Nowt else happening.?

Biggins missed with a header from six yards out that he really should have scored. We’ve been 1000 times better than Saturday, if we keep playing like this we will win more than we will lose

6 yards more like 2, much better performance but wish he would stop taking miller off for agard

Didn’t deserve to lose but then we’ve won games this season where we did, still a better performance and I expect we will only get better

Clayton coming on took the impetus out of us a bit. But Close was struggling with cramp, so understand that. Would have put Agard on with Miller not instead of, and gone to a four at the back…

That was light years ahead of what was being served up. Really good performance after only 3 training sessions under DS.

Another day we win that one pretty comfortably.
