Clayton not even on bench?
-
So no Clayton or Griffiths on the substitute bench.
DS as named so defenders Long and Flint midfielders Ravenhill and Barlow attackers Woltman and Agard,
-
Not as many here as I thought would be, considering how busy Wimbledon was?
-
Hello everyone, going to be listening to the game on Iplayer. Can't get to the game (even though it's not that far for me) as I'm looking after my daughter and also my dog who are both unwell. Hoping for us to get something from the game.

Fingers crossed you will not be too disappointed, I am not hopeful for this game. Come on Rovers, surprise me!!!
-
Personally I hope we havnt gotta rely on the bench coming on to make a difference at any point. Feel that is a very weak bench.
-
Might have to listen to the Orient commentary, Rovers not yet going (again!)

Aren't there strikes on the railways today?

Mine is going, but there have been gaps in the sound
-
Actually filled up nicely just before KO, the boys are in fine voice
-
Rovers pressing well and are doing a decent job so far.
-
Open enjoyable game keep it up.
-
Grown into the game and are the better team now. Should be in front. You feel we need to score soon.
-
Rovers odds for a win have come in since the start of the match, Sky obviously getting worried Rovers might pull this one off!
-
36 | Jonathan Mitchell gets across well to keep out a drive from Theo Archibald that was heading for the near post
0-0
COYR
-
HT | That's the break and we're goalless at half time
Some great work from Rovers in that opening half
0-0

Should be ahead. Defended really well and restricted them to half chances. Cant help but think they will win the second half now which would pretty much sum up where we are at.
-
Think we look in control. Would look at getting biggins closer to the area and hitting one of his rockets, in these conditions could go anywhere.
Only change I'd like to see is long come on for seaman to allow Knoyle to get forward more.
-
The main point for me is we are competing well, at the side top of the league. We might not win, but that half surely proves we can match any in this division?
-
Agreed, they are no way better than us right now...
-
They are very solid defensively and have doubled up on Molyneux, I think a mistake or a moment of brilliance will be the deciding factor as we have defended well collectively
-
Can’t grumble at that performance hope it continues with a win for us. Williams doing ok.
-
Sounds positive! Come on boys.
-
Really tight game. A single goal will probably decide this.
-
Although he’s ploughing a lone furrow, Miller has disappointed this game. Poor control and he missed a great chance in the first half.
-
65 | Decent strike from Orient's Tom James deflects wide for a corner
0-0
COYR
-
Under pressure now.
-
1-0
-
Well, shit.
-
58 | The ball comes out to Theo Archibald who strikes a dipping volley over Jonathan Mitchell. We trail
1-0
COYR
-
Earlier suggestion that this might end up going Orient's way looking likely now
-
They been on top for last 10/15 mins or so but a great strike tbf
-
Just had a second look at this on SKY. A great finish but….. the ball is half cleared to just outside our box and Mitchell inexplicably takes two strides forward and in an instant the ball is over his head and in the net.
-
Think 1st half very good second sitting to deep, worry is there is not much on the bench to change anything, hope to be proved wrong thou
-
Put ourselves under pressure there, just not clearing our lines properly. Mollyneux has been very poor.
-
Awful from Mitchell that's a routine save. Lobbed again like v Rochdale.
-
That wasn't good goalkeeping at all. Really shouldn't have been beat there. Nicely hit but made to look better by terrible positioning and late/relaxed reactions from Mitchell.
After a great 1st half we've not looked good in the 2nd.

He could have done better.
-
7 shots but non on target again They have 7 shots with 4 on target. We need to put it between the sticks.
-
Just watched the goal on Sky sports good strike from 30/35 yards but Mitchell was stepping forward as the ball was leaving the area and therefore it went in over his stretched hand. If he hadn’t stepped forward he should have saved it.
-
Weve hardly been out of our half this second period.
-
Not sure Mitchell should be 6 yards off his line there
-
No way was that Mitchell’s fault dipping ball and you never see a goalkeeper on his line
-
I've not seen the goal yet but if as has been said, it was a 30 yarder, no keeper would stand on his line if a player was lining up a shot from that distance.

it was more 25 yard out and yes Mitchell was coming forward but was still only 4/5 yard off his line

Once they matched us up, we haven’t had an answer
-
Mitchell has a bad habit of being way off his line about 20 times a game so hearing he was off his line is hardly a surprise. I'm about 10 miles away and can tell you that rain has just started here and it is torrential. Mentioned a few times on Ifollow. Still time for match to be abandoned? Clutching at straws.
-
Agard for Hurst? Why not for Seaman and shift to a back 4? The over reliance and stubbornness of 5 at the back will cost us this season.
We seemed to have lost legs in the midfield the second half (probably as a result of sitting too deep)
And Donnievic that goal was completely Mitchell's fault. His positioning/reaction time was awful.

Right cheers. That is where i would expect him to be then.
-
Shows nothing in game management Schofield. Coach not a tactician. Clear way of playing after kick off he's been poor
-
I was texting my mate saying if we lose 1-0 today that is a positive, this is against a team who have hardly lost all season. Not bad, just up against a very good team.
-
Becoming a hard watch this now
-
We are desperate for a decent playmaker/provider up front.
-
It was nailed on what was going to happen here. Top of the league and a wonder strike or not its another game gone begging.
-
Not one shot on target?
-
The Sky Reporter says that nothing has happened in the game since Orient scored some 20 minutes ago… apart from a flock of Parakeets flying over the ground.
-
Not one shot on target?
BBC stats say so but they also speak of shots being blocked by defenders.
Don't forget Alan, shots have to be stopped by the keeper to count as being on target.
-
This ref is falling for every cheap trick in the book.
-
FT 1-0
-
Maxwell MOTM for me today.
-
Full time 1-0, closer than I thought it would be. A decent performance but lacked quality in the final third

Disappointing. But that sums up our away form, we've not played particularly well away from home often this season. Frustrating thing for me today is the bench, what options were there to change the game?
-
Cannot understand the manager every game he takes off our only players with any pace, we really need some new players not waiting till the last day when they fall through, some pace and creativity please
-
We are desperate for 3 or 4 new players to give us different options from bench ect or we can kiss playoff goodbye, come on now donny give schofield the tools he needs and we can make the top 7
-
Got bullied in midfield 2nd half against a good side. Close was a complete passenger for most of the game, for the few nice passes he does when he's not under pressure he offers us nothing. I'd like to see the goal again but it looked like no keeper in the world would have saved it. Anyone who's saying Mitchell's positioning was poor is wrong, he was exactly where he should be just a good strike unfortunately
-

not sure where you think he should be positioned then if you think it was bad positioning
-
First half very promising and at one point with an open goal I thought rovers might have took the lead. A few good chances first half just could get the shot through to goal with quite a few blocks by the o,s. Second half rovers just seemed to take their foot off the gas and it became a very defensive exercise. not a single shot on target tells the oh so familiar story. And orient are not as good as their league position shows. They will not win this league .
-
Just seen the goal on the match highlights.
No blame on Mitchell for the goal.
Any decent keeper would have positioned himself as he did.
