Good stuff Fuzzy.

Who is it we're playing tomorrow? Just another 3 points at stake isn't it.

It's funny how quickly things can change in football. The character of a team can change in a thrice with a different mental approach and, do you know what's good about that? Grayson will not have a clue how to prepare.

A win for the reds tomorrow night will not be a shock but the way it's achieved might be.

You can see and hear how Saunders is motivating the team whilst learning on the job about the players he's inherited. The good thing is we have players who are intelligent, thanks to SOD's legacy, and once they get it then we'll see some fireworks.

As for Leeds, they are just part of our learning curve and sooner or later the class divide will show.

End to end stuff, 'lucky' Rovers win the day. A few goals in the game but the two beats the one.

DRFC 1-0 Club recently promoted from the third division.

(Hayter 47)

Very similar to this in fact.

You know, I had a Leeds fan tell me yesterday how Wembley 2008 still smarted.

I asked him why?

Was it he pin-point corner from Stock that Hayter dived to place an unstoppable bullet of a header past a statuesque Ankergen?

Was it the way Leeds reject Sully dominated his six-yard box throughout the second half to prevent any efforts on goal never mind goals themselves?

Could it have been how the first half was so completely one-sided that for the only time in our history, us Donny fans were jealous of Leeds fans because all the play was at their end and they had the best seats in the house to appreciate it?

Perhaps it was how Millsy and Hirdy between them didn't allow Beckford a kick?

Maybe he was sore because the result caused Leeds to wait for another two seasons before getting to play in the Championship again?

Strangely, he didn't seem to be able to put his finger on any one reason in particular.  In fact he didn't really give me much of a reply at all!

No Lalkovic. So much for our pace explosion from the bench.

Stupid free kick given away by Gorgeous. Comedy defending. Jimmy loses marker. 1-0.

Good finish by McCormack for the second.

Evenly matched teams though.

Big test for Deano now.

COME ON!

Stung at set pieces really.  Hopefully lessons learned for Saunders.  Not too disheartened TBH.

have got what we deserved tonight ,offered little in the final third two silly goals (which needs to be sorted out its been going on too long from those situations), one goal special even though it pains me to say it. Lets hope we can shake it off ready for tuesday and bounce back. On a final note since my time away from donny has the keepmoat turned into an ice skating venue? far too many slipping over on the pitch.

keep the faith:rtid:

Listen. If there were positives to be taken from a game against Kitsons like them, I'd take them. But we've been second best in every single position and it hurts to watch that.

Be optimistic for the season as a whole by all means, but don't tell me that we were competitive tonight. After the first 15 minutes, we have been utterly out-played.

Long, hard winter coming...

second to the ball all night and no creation.
thought Gillett was way of the pace and the sharp /Parkin combo looks inefective

You must have been watching a different game to me. I think we've been dreadful. Sloppy and disorganised in defence, non existent and totally out muscled in midfield, long ball followed by long ball x 20, can't recall one decent effort on goal with a 'style' of football (if you can call it a style) boring to say the least and one not witnessed at the KM for a long time.

That was exactly what was missing upto Bennett's arrival but the game was well out of our/his grasp by then.
the tactics and players used for the game imo were completely wrong.
