Still only two central midfield players and 4 wide players.let’s hope Hurst and or Molyneux come inside to link up with the midfield and Miller

Barlow and Seaman on the bench ahead of Woltman, or another injury/sickness?

4 | Big chance for Rovers as Kyle Knoyle sends in a peach of a cross which George Miller meets at the near post with a header, forcing a good save from Grimsby keeper Max Crocombe

6 | Miller puts Rovers ahead! He carried a ball from half way into the box, clipped it over to Kyle Knoyle who then drilled across the face of the goal where Miller tapped in at the back post

BOOM!

0-1

10 in 19 for George now

Need to still play on the front foot and push on. Can still see our defence pasing around the back and f*****g up . Don't wanna sound negative like. Want a 2 goal cushion

Very much on the front foot at present and Knoyle is by far the best player on the pitch

24 | Superb run into the box by Kyle Knoyle, who just keeps going. The shot presents itself and he drills low but is blocked by a Grimsby defender

25 | Great save by Jonathan Mitchell as Harry Clifton is played clean through for Grimsby. The Rovers keeper rushed out and made himself big just inside the box

A word of praise for the ref, who is in his first EFL season and has been excellent.

its been all Grimsby since we scored really, with the odd break form us. Danny needs to regroup them, they have dropped to far and given them the advantage. Good half with biggins playing well

A good half for Rovers. Just need to keep their concentration a bit better in second half and keep going forward.
