Apart from Molyneux that’s a bloody good team for us, as good as I could expect, just hope we get off on the front foot!

I feel more confident with that back line!

I think everyone would have that as their ideal back 3 right now so good to see. Given Rowe’s on the bench I hope he’s fully fit and gets a chance to come on later on in a more advanced role where he can have an impact. Hoping Hurst plays close to Miller so he isn’t isolated.

Agree about Rowe, Hurst might be still a bit deeper, think we might be up against it in midfield, Molyneux definitely needs to show something.

A bit worried about our defence against someone as clever as Charlie Austin.

I'm more worried about Jonny Williams. He tore our midfield apart at the Eco.

One of the best midfielders in League 2.

The Ghost of Charlie Austin , i think the last time he faced us was for QPR on New Years Day 2014 at Loftus Rd.
He scored a 90th min winner with his head.  :crying:

At least Rovers won't go to the dogs today . This morning Sky sports had greyhound racing from Swindon.

What I did notice was puddles on the  greyhound track so it must have been raining

a lot

What is it then? Laziness incompetence whatever, it is a regular feature of our coverage of games that I and others pay for. Usually it is just starting late when the other club has a commentary, this time it is ....nothing!

It’s a technical problem, not sure how that’s incompetence.?

This highlights everything wrong with this forum - folks looking to jump on the club for any reason even if there’s no fault there..

8 | Bright start from Rovers both on and off the ball. James Brown wins a corner

8 | A short corner routine sees Charlie Lakin take position and deliver a cross but it's too deep

10 |  The pressing from Rovers so far has been excellent and forced numerous errors from the hosts.

We should be a minimum of 2 goals up now - their commentators are unsure how we are missing these

14 | Big chance for Rovers as George Miller latches onto a slack back header towards the keeper and lifts a shot over Brynn, only to see it bounce narrowly wide

17 | Charlie Lakin robs the ball 25 yards out, feeds George Miller who lays off to Ben Close with his shot from the edge of the box dragged wide

17 | Great chance. Really good work from Luke Molyneux sees a cross delivered into the box where Kyle Hurst rises and sends a header on goal, drawing a fine save from Solomon Brynn

We’ve got to start hitting the target and testing this keeper! All over them right now
