todays game was one i had us penned to scrape a win. thats not looking likely. the 6 teams currently below rovers all have better gd and we still have to play three of them. and we also have to play the teams currently in 18th, 19th and 20th.
I can now see rovers finishing deep in the bottom half of the table come season end.

I think that we will lose all our games until the end of the season.

yep, rovers are safe. if its to be a complete and abject failure from now to season end, then ill take it, IF he goes as a result. it will be ugly. very ugly.

Gillingham have more points than anyone since January -- which shows how easy it is to "buy" this league

The process is. The Board sack DS, it's that simple.

in fact only 3 have. We have the fourth equal worst gd. Only 4 teams have lost more games than us also.

How empty is the stadium? How bad is the booing?

Why would you not play to the strengths of what you have? You play the style of football you believe in when you have the players capable of doing it. He can’t last much longer in the job.

I thought the presence of Goodman up top was encouraging. Gave us something to go at. I don’t see any reason not to give him a few starts in the run in. Westbrooke for me has to start I assume the only reason so far is down to fitness levels but he doesn’t looked bogged down with the weight of the club like the rest of our players seem to at the minute he tried to make stuff happen at least

Second half was brighter with more intent and energy. Goodman did well and Seaman/Molly seemed to link up well. Still got nothing to show for it though!

Quite hostile towards manager, board and players today. There’s no way anyone in that stadium didn’t hear it, it was loud and clear.

When you start a home game without a recognised striker on the pitch but you have two on the bench you know you are not going to get a glut of home goals. Then at half time you bring on an 18 year old striker and leave your experienced striker on the bench when 2-0 down, you know you’re not looking to win the game. And to cap a series of poor decisions you don’t bring him on at all you know the manager has lost plot and it’s time for them to go.

This season we’ve had two managers that haven’t had a clue as to what is need and more importantly what we, the fans, want.

After the Harrogate game I thought it couldn’t get any worse, I was wrong

Probably about 4500 in SS and the booing in the first half was very loud and clear.
There was even a new Danny Schofield song.
The crowd has really turned on him now.
Oddly enough, there was hardly any booing in the second half.
I think it was because everyone was just too pissed off to be bothered.

I sit in the West stand. The West Stand were 'disgruntled' with Gary McS at the end of his time... Today was so so so much lower than that.

Its rare the Westies join the south in chants but today, there were very vocal pockets appearing everywhere. Clear, angry, emotional sentiment everywhere.

In terms of the performance... Seaman, Faulkner, Nelson, & Goodman looked like they could be arsed.

Midfield once again might as well have not bothered showing up. Rowe looked poor, Molyneux looked to be trying but having nothing come off.

Mitchell received sarcastic jeers from his first save - which was ironically the same type he'd ballsed up the home game previous.

The players had zero confidence and low understanding of the system that they've been asked to play for some months now. Keeper's distribution negates any benefits of playing from the back - opposing strikers just press us back and by the time we've composed ourselves, the balls punched out of touch for the opposition to press us that much harder.

Players lose the ball and show about as much interest in winning it back as the likelihood of us winning any games this season.

BBC Radio Sheffield earlier commented on some fans exchange about Wednesdays decline where they called 3 shots on target in a game 'poor'..

3?!
3?!?!
What I wouldn't GIVE FOR 3 SHOTS IN A GAME!!!
