Be careful on the steps in the stands, there were more people tripping over last time we went

Brings back memories of Scunny away, it could have been Oslo and his mate selling bin bags full outside, made a bomb and looked brilliant

I like nothing better than seeing Peterborough being beaten, even better when it's at there own place! McAnthony is a nasty, vindictive man who always has way too much to say for himself!

Let's make every effort to sell out the allocation and give GM 90 minutes of loud support and give Darragh McAnthony some shit on his behalf.

I for one can't wait for this, another new ground for me and my lad to tick off which will be four new ones this season so far.

100% this
What about santa hats for the occasion?
I can remember a sea of red and white santa hats away at scunny in the mid 90s which looked ace.

Another good shout Nudga.
Dug out my old Santa hat after reading this but it doesn’t fit, can’t get it on my head.
Does your head keep growing after you’re 60?

Anyway, I’ll get another.

Come on you Santas!

Let's get this thing moving. It's the last decent away day before Christmas, turn Posh red and white

Agreed.

Santa hats, red and white scarves, home shirts, flags, red and white f*****g balloons.
Let’s do this.

And of course Rovers will play in their black away strip …..

Hat ordered

Also, using a hairdryer to remove Tomlin from last season's home shirt as i opted to buy the hooped blue shirt this season.

I'll leave 23 on the home shirt and add Senior  :s

Would people think that you are giving your age away though.

1,300 is a joke unless they release more once they've sold

I don’t think there will be a problem getting a ticket with the recent apathy with the FA Cup, plus we will get more if those actually sell out

It’s a decent ground. They’ve stopped giving us the stand behind the goal in recent years but it’s still a proper stadium and only 10 mins walk from centre. Fairly anonymous place but one of the better grounds.

The toilet facilities are terrible, the aisle are narrow to queue for the urinals

My last visit to London Road was the mid sixties 3-3 draw.
My brother came too and it was the first away game I had gone to without an adult.
Well I thought it was at the time but I found out later that my dads mates from the pit were keeping an eye on us.

Yes , me too. Did you go on Coach from Stainforth ?

I did and that was certainly one of my first solo away games though probably not my first

It's the last time I went there and I was telling someone the other day and then said omg that made me 14

Bloody hell.

How many do you think we will take?
Don’t think we ever took more than 900 for a League 1 match.

No way will we take 1363 especially with a rail strike. Not a chance imo.
Would be good if we did though.  :)

Yes rail strikes are on but how many people actually pay the extortionate train fairs anyway?
It's the 2nd round, chance of a cracking 3rd round draw, easy to get to by car or coach, McCann derby.

Or is it just me that's really buzzing about this game which is clouding my judgement?

I am buzzing for this too. He has already beaten one of his old teams this season. Lightening could strike twice.

Yes Wolfie I did go on that coach.
My mum had a barbers shop there so we went to the shop with her in the morning and walked to meet the others that were going.
We lived in Moorends but I can’t remember how we got back there afterwards.
I suppose that either mum or dad came to pick us up from Stainforth.
Can you remember if the coach went back to Thorne and Moorends?

No cos I would have got off in Stainforth as at that time I was living at 4 Fourth Square Stain ... Fourth

I sent a joke in to Noel Edmunds a few years later and he spent more time repeating and laughing at that than the joke itself

Edited the title, see if we can have a bit of festive fun and fill the away end in a sea of red and white.

Spread the word.

It must have been a special calling throughout our Fans

I didn't go to Stanley but once we won and I knew it was Posh away it just was a no brainer ( handy as I don't have one)

I did a few quick WhatsApp etc and quickly had 4 for Supporters Club Coaches , organised a Pub , and later on got the Tickets

It's like a new Ground to me as I haven't been since August 65 and the 3-3 draw
